It's Time to Forget About Her

The trashcan is full with bundles of old photos and love letters.
It's finally time to forget about her.
She's been living a new life with him for almost a decade now.
She's happy.
She loves him.
She's not ever coming back.
I have to stop living in the past.

That is reminiscent of the greatest country song ever. Except maybe in your story, he does finally get over her. I hope he does and that he finds happiness. Great entry!
