Hello and welcome to all to this post where I will analyze a little of what is currently happening in Russia and Ukraine, to a greater extent I will express my opinion here, but in a generalized way, without being on either side of any side and taking into account the actions of the political leaders involved.

Basically the document was never legalized and this part of the Russian population continued to be oppressed, the so mentioned NATO, the UN and the European Union to see this conflict did the best they know how to do ... Nothing, and when I say nothing is nothing, since not even imposed one of its famous sanctions solved everything. This left the Russian president with only 2 alternatives, either to cross his arms and do nothing, or to intervene militarily to get the attention of the Ukrainian political leaders.
I know, it sounds very very cruel, but it is the sad reality, yet I am not justifying it.
I am not really justifying the behavior of the Russian president, but it is well known that if you corner a beast, it will show its fangs and knowing Vladimir Putin's past and his background, there is no leader who deserves the title of "Beast" more than him.
WHY DOES IT DO SO?
¿POR QUÉ LO HACE?

Religion, ideology, resources, land, spite, love or just because. No matter how pathetic the motive, it is enough to start a war.
SO UKRAINE IS THE VILLAIN?
¿ENTONCES UCRANIA ES EL VILLANO?

Pirates are bad? Marines are the good guys? These terms have always changed throughout history! Children who have never seen peace and children who have never seen war have different values! Those at the top determine what is right and what is wrong! This place is neutral ground! They say Justice will prevail? Of course it will! Whoever wins this war will become Justice!
If at this point your way of thinking is similar to this sentence then I will have to make it even clearer.
Here there are no heroes or villains, or at least not yet, so far the only thing there are victims and losses of all kinds, not only the way of life of the Ukrainians has been affected, my mother works in hotel business and these last months the occupants of the hotel have been mostly Russians and today when she came home from work she told me "The Russians are not the same as before, a few days ago the atmosphere was so different, you can tell that what is happening has affected them".
I for my part consider that Russia has already lost the war or at least is very close to it, no matter how long the conflict lasts. The reason? It is nicely reflected by Okita Souga from the anime Gintama with these words.

When you fight, it doesn't matter how many enemies you kill. If you fail to protect what you are supposed to protect, that's when you lose.
