The majestic Vedado of Havana
Hello, friends. During my recent stay in Havana, I had to go to Vedado. This area has a unique charm that really amazed me the whole time I was there. I had seen this place many times on TV, so I enjoyed being able to see this place first hand.
While walking through its streets, I stumbled upon the famous Cuarto de Tula, or at least that's what I was told was its name, the only place that until yesterday accepted HBD in Cuba, a more than pleasant news. I knew the place immediately by the small and unmistakable sign on the door.
Walking through the central streets of Vedado also gave me the opportunity to marvel at two icons of the area: the majestic Habana Libre Hotel and the legendary Yara Theater. The architecture and grandeur of these places is simply grandiose.
The day before, I had gone to Vedado, with the intention of legalizing some documents at a law firm located there. However, unlike yesterday, this time the Coppelia was open and they were selling ice cream. Excitement invaded me, since this place enjoyed a certain prestige.
But here comes the surprise, or rather, the disappointment. Despite being a central place and a reference for ice cream in Cuba, the experience at Coppelia was a disaster. The service left much to be desired, and to top it off, the ice cream was only available in one flavor. Although the ice cream was delicious, I can't help but think what it could have been like if I had the option to choose from a variety of flavors, or at the very least, an ice cream salad.
On my way back I was able to pass in front of the legendary University of Havana. I could appreciate its beautiful staircase. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, I could not go up.
Despite this small disappointment, I can't help but admire the beauty of Vedado. Its streets, its historic buildings and that unique atmosphere that only this place can offer. Sometimes, the negative experiences are overshadowed by the enchanting environment that surrounds us.
The whole time I was in this central part of Havana, it was a positive experience, besides getting my documents legalized, which was the main reason I went, the disappointment at Coppelia became secondary. But at the end of the day, what prevails is the beauty and charm of this place, which undoubtedly leaves a mark in the heart of anyone who visits it.

You went to Havanno Majarman Veddo to eat ice cream but not all flavors of ice cream. So you should go to another place for ice cream that has more flavors.
The day before there was no ice cream anywhere, as they said that the ice cream factory had not been working for days. I went to a private ice cream shop on L street, but they had none.
