En esta oportunidad tengo la dicha de hacer mi primer post en esta hermosa comunidad, mi hija me la mostró cuando participó en el hive's top model 2023, concurso que disfruté mucho, acompañé a mi hija en sus iniciativas yo la miraba bastante entusiasmada con su participación, me pedía consejos sobre su vestimenta y sus combinaciones que a mi parecer, siempre tiene un as bajo la manga para crear y combinar sus atuendos. En algunas ocasiones la ayudaba con unas fotografías y la orientaba. También observaba a las demás chicas que brillaron con sus entradas tan maravillosas.

Vengo para mostrarles un poco de mi creación como diseñadora de modas autodidacta, viendo videos de la web 2 YouTube, he aprendido muchísimo, de hecho yo le he hecho vestidos a mi primera nieta. Hoy les mostraré el primer sobretodo elegante para mi hija @ljtorres2, pues ella había comprado tela suficiente para que le hiciera una blusa, hasta que se le ocurrió la brillante idea de fabricar un sobretodo así que me ofrecí a hacerlo y nos pusimos manos a la obra.

Ocupé 1 1/4 metros de tela negra, tijeras, hilo, una maquina de cocer, un sobretodo de referencia para sacar las medidas y una tiza. Para cotar coloque la tela doblada a la mitad en la mesa y sobre ella el sobretodo de referencia y así obtener las medidas.

I used 1 1/4 meters of black fabric, scissors, thread, a sewing machine, a reference overcoat to get the measurements and a chalk. To stitch, place the fabric folded in half on the table and place the reference overcoat on top of it to get the measurements.

Luego corté con precisión la parte de atrás para luego ir por la parte de adelante y las mangas, al principio pensé que sería complicado, pero a medida que iba cortando noté que fue bastante sencillo. Mi hija estaba al tanto del procedimiento para ella aprender a hacer uno. Nosotras quisimos hacer una replica del sobretodo azul porque nos gusta el diseño del mismo y además es elegante. La imágenes que les mostraré a continuación hablan por sí solas.

Al terminar esta primera parte tomé lo que corté y lo recogí para luego ir por las mangas y el cuello del sobretodo y posteriormente hacerle una basta para que mi hija se lo midiera.

When I finished this first part, I took what I cut and gathered it and then went for the sleeves and the neckline of the overcoat and later made a coarse for my daughter to measure it.

Su cara de satisfacción es la que me motiva a seguir con el reto, quiere decir que le está gustando el resultado. Ya viendo que sus medidas quedaron perfectas, tomé la maquina de cocer y empecé a pegar todos los miembros del traje, incluyendo las manga, solo alcanzó para que las mangas fuesen tres cuartas.

His satisfied face is what motivates me to continue with the challenge, it means that he is liking the result. Después de unir todas las piezas le pegué los botones y lo planché para que este tuviera forma.

Mi hija quedó muy contenta con el resultado final, acá les presumo como luce tan esbelta y bella como siempre.
