Love You Elder While They Are Around
Sometimes ago, I met one of the elderly in my place. I think he is suffering from alzheimer because he mostly forget everything about his life.
I know it is hard to take care of your elderly more over the one suffering from that kind of disease which need your constant care and protection. Because my grandparent were also suffering the same thing when he is still alive.
He was walking away from his home, when I found him next to my yard. I asked him where he was heading since he is walking away from his home, and also because the history of him completely lost for a day.
He said he was heading to his home when I asked where he was heading. Then I convince him that he was walking into the wrong direction. I also convinced him to hop into my bike so that I can bring him to his home and his family.
Which he agreed and I escorted him back to his house. The family member was surprised to see him with me. Because he was just around the house compound and no on notice that he was gone.
I am not saying that I was a great person to escort him, but I am doing what other are doing to my grandparents. But you have to always love and care you elderly when they are still around.
They have been there to raised you and shape you to the way you have become, and now it is time for you to do the same towards them at the ends of their life.

I agree that it is not the fault of the offsprings to be born and raised, but as a human who has been taught well about humanity, I think giving back the help was just the small form of humanity that you can give to your elder.
Love them when they are still alive, because your sad tears when they are dead means nothing if you never care for them when they are alive.
