Starting my first step growing my first try planting lettuce and snow cabbage.
Greetings everyone,
I hope everybody is doing healthy and happy today. Lately, I share about the seeds I'm planning to grow when the land is ready for my new gardening but since it's not ready yet I decided to start growing some of them while waiting.
Four days ago I sowed the two kinds of seeds that I'll be growing for the first time which is the snow cabbage and lettuce.
Day1
Day2
Day3
From the seedling tray that I bought together with them, I put mixed 1/4 part ordinary soil, 1/4 sawdust and 1/2 humus soil. But, you know I made a funny thing since it was my first time using a seedling tray and meeting those new seeds. As the seeds grow I realised now that I guess I'm doing the wrong thing I did put more than one seed thinking that maybe if I put one it will not grow but now on its fourth day they are bursting out in one hole.
Day4
For now, I just let it be and I'll wait until it's the 15th day and they'll all be ready for repotting.
I also sowed my Moringa seeds in an old egg tray but as of this moment, they don't sprout yet.
So that is all, for now, will make an update very soon.
Thank you for reading this. Have a lovely day everyone 😘!
nice-looking good and slowly coming along
Thanks, let's see how it goes 🙂.
Legit plantita jud diay. 😂 Good luck with your seedlings! I can imagine the sandwich I can make with the lettuce once they've fully grown. 😁
Hehe, Salamat 😊. Maayo unta matigayon puhon 😇.
That's pretty quick kabayan, imagine, in just four days your seedlings are about 1 inches in height. Can't wait to see them grow taller.
Hehe Maraming Salamat kabayan sana magtagumpay ako.
You're welcome (^_^) kabayan.
What a great idea to reuse the egg tray. Excellent, or rather eggselent :)
Haha, Thank you 😊.

Thank you so much for the curation @plantpoweronhive.
Wow, your seeds are growing so fast. And the little leaves are looking so cute and very healthy. I do not think it was wrong of you to plant more of them in one pot as you can later repot them singluraly (but I think you aready are planning this).
Is pavo a variety of clover?
Hello @neumannsalva. Thanks, I didn't expect they were growing so fast too. It's my first time growing them and I was surprised how cute they are. Anyway, Pavo is a variety of cabbage.
I never heard of this, very intersecting to see your cabbage grow. I only saw the tiny leaves and thought it looked a bit like clover (here some people cultivate clover to grow between the vegetable rows in a patch)
you're right, I just remember😅 It really looks like a clover. Here also it grows at the sides of the rice fields but most of us don't pay attention to it because we only consider them as weeds.
or maybe what I think of clover in your place is different from what I'm thinking .😁
