Hoy es el día más esperado por todas las maquillistas del año: Halloween. Me propuse hacer cuatro maquillajes para esta ocasión y, en efecto, lo logré. Me siento muy orgullosa, porque, aunque no son muchos, fue la meta que me planteé, ni más ni menos. Debo decirles que los primeros me gustaron demasiado, y hoy, aunque es el cierre de esta temática de Halloween, quería hacer algo espectacular. Sin embargo, no me dio tiempo, ya que tenía demasiadas cosas que hacer durante la semana y no me organicé lo suficiente para poder traerles un maquillaje de Halloween impactante. Aun así, quería presentarles algo lindo, y como mi idea era hacerme una calavera, decidí crear una muy coqueta.

Today is the most anticipated day of the year for all makeup artists: Halloween. I set out to do four makeups for this occasion and, indeed, I succeeded. I feel very proud, because, although they are not many, it was the goal I set for myself, no more and no less. I must tell you that I liked the first ones too much, and today, although it is the closing of this Halloween theme, I wanted to do something spectacular. However, I didn't have time, as I had too many things to do during the week and I wasn't organized enough to bring you a stunning Halloween makeup. Still, I wanted to present you with something cute, and since my idea was to make myself a skull, I decided to create a very flirty one.

Para este maquillaje, decidí comenzar por la piel, ya que me había hecho un look sencillo anteriormente y, teniendo gran parte del trabajo listo, solo retoqué con base. Después apliqué un poco de contorno y rubor en crema para sellar súper rápido. Seguidamente, hice los ojos con sombras en tonos coral, morado y un poco de shimmer. La verdad es que los ojos me encantaron, quedaron súper cuchis, y esta vez decidí dejarlos sin delineado, solo con unas pestañas bastante grandes para darle dinamismo a la mirada. Posteriormente, realicé la parte de la calavera con ayuda de una tapa redonda, marcando el ojo y la línea del pómulo. Aquí batallé bastante hasta que logré el efecto que quería. Después simplemente rellené con un poco de sombra, apliqué glitter y agregué piedras brillantes para darle un toque bastante lindo.

For this makeup, I decided to start with the skin, since I had done a simple look before and, having most of the work done, I just touched up with foundation. Then I applied some contour and cream blush to seal super fast. Next, I did the eyes with shadows in coral, purple and a bit of shimmer. The truth is that I loved the eyes, they were super cute, and this time I decided to leave them without eyeliner, only with some big eyelashes to give dynamism to the look. Afterwards, I did the skull part with the help of a round lid, marking the eye and the cheekbone line. Here I struggled quite a bit until I achieved the effect I wanted. Then I simply filled in with a bit of shadow, applied glitter and added shiny stones to give it a pretty nice touch.

Como toque final, me hice los labios, que también me costaron bastante, ya que no sabía exactamente cómo hacerlos. Al final, opté por colocar lápiz negro, tinta de labios y gloss, sin difuminar el lápiz negro, para que se viera como un sobre delineado. Hice los dientes de la calavera en morado; la idea era que no resaltaran demasiado, y creo que logré el efecto. No creo que sea mi mejor trabajo, pero me gustó, y en las fotos se ve bastante lindo. De todas las calaveras que he hecho, esta no es mi favorita. Quería hacerla en blanco y negro, como es lo "tradicional", pero no tenía los materiales, así que preferí simplemente presentarles este maquillaje. As a final touch, I did the lips, which I also struggled with, as I didn't know exactly how to do them. In the end, I opted to put black pencil, lip ink and gloss, without smudging the black pencil, so that it would look like an over liner. I did the skull's teeth in purple; the idea was that they wouldn't stand out too much, and I think I achieved the effect. I don't think it's my best work, but I liked it, and in the photos it looks pretty nice. Of all the skulls I've done, this one is not my favorite. I wanted to do it in black and white, as is “traditional”, but I didn't have the materials, so I preferred to just present you with this makeup.
