Be The Support!

Hello everyone, glad to have you visit my blog again. I hope the weekend has been pleasant with you. Mine has actually been amazing and I'm hoping the new week will bring good tidings with it. I really need it to., lol.

Oh, I just said "good tidings", now this reminds me of Christmas, and it's just two months away. Soon the wave of the season will set it, and everywhere will be bustling again and you'll see more businesses and companies carrying out product promotional campaign at popular and major locations across the city just like this company did on Saturday.

They were actually carrying out the promo campaign right at the junction where I usually board vehicles home. The company is one of the leading distillery companies in my city and they have good drinks, one of which is this Seamans Schnapps, that they were promoting.

As I got closer to the place, I saw how well organized it was. The stage, outfit of the promoter and marketers were all beautiful. I guess, it's because of the blue color, which is my favorite color.
There were also security personnel, which was a good one too. The DJ was busy doing what he knows how best to do, lol.

So as a potential customer that I am, I decided to go check if they'll have good offers. While making enquires, promoter or rather MC announced that he need people to come sample the product. Product sampling?, that's my specialty, hehehe. I'm sure you can guess what happened next, I stepped out. 😅. I was actually the only female amongst some men who came for the sampling.

We were given one sachet of the product each. It was the men who did the real sampling by tasting the drink, while I just held mine.

There was a bit of gyration (dance) too. In fact this is where I did my own sampling, lol.

After that I went on my way, happy that I was able to support the product promo campaign and the company too, in my own little way.

You know, this word "support" is indeed a vital aspect of various facet in life, be it in personal life, relationships, business, growth and development. It cuts across all corners. We all know that the success of any relationship, business, project, or other life endeavors lies in the level of support given it.
Support can be a safety net during uncertain times, a motivating factor for achieving goals, a catalyst for personal growth, a key to building trust and loyalty etc.

Just like everyone needs support, everyone need to be the support too.*

There are various aspects one can actually be that support. It can be:

• Emotional support to loved ones by offering encouragement, validation and empathy. Being reliable, dependable and showing up when needed.

• Mental health support which involves offering kind, encouraging and reassuring words. Offering help with daily tasks and errands and providing resources like support groups, therapy.

• Financial support either to someone, group or for a cause.

• Technical support for a product or service, just like I did at the promotion.

• Community support: Engaging in actions that promote unity, inclusivity, and well-being within a community. For example; being part of a volunteer group, mentorship education, neighborhood initiative, or even advocacy.

We all can be the support in whatever little way we can, and by so doing we'll be creating an avenue or room for us to gain support too. Just like it is written in the Holy Book that

"He who waters, shall equally be watered
