Hello @lovesniper! Hello @indayclara!

I just wanted to jump in here to offer a suggestion and also I wanted to ask for clarity on something you are sending to new users on the Hive Blockchain.

Here's my suggestion:
I noticed that the welcome template that you are messaging our newest Hive Members with is a fairly bulky amount of text and because of it's nature it might come across a bit on the overwhelming side.

Now this is just my humble opinion but wouldn't it be better to have this comment template broken into 2 (or even 3) steps?

The 1st step would be about celebrating and just simply welcoming them to the blockchain. It's a once only opportunity to leave a good impression that is also fun and friendly! We are also building trust and rapport at the same time and often this can be done best when it is not all done at once!

So for example:

Hello @merrymay22! This is @indayclara from @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) team. We saw that you already posted your first blog here in Hive! Congratulations and welcome to Hive! [1'st Contact]

If there is a 2nd contact this is valuable feedback and it means that some connection and rapport has been made. This means the New Account holder is receptive and more likely to give an ear to the more instructional points that you would like to make in a 2nd or even a 3rd point of contact.

In this way we are also maximizing the good vibes of the 1st contact and not coming across in way's that we might not intend for our newest members.

I hope that you guys understand my points here and that they are useful to you and what you are doing for the new people on this blockchain. 😊

Ok! This leads me to the part that I was wanting some clarity on.

I noticed the use of the word "Idea" right here. 👇

Also, letting you know since content on the Hive platform is monetized, using other people’s ideas or images could be considered as an offense and which is also viewed in a serious light on the blockchain.

I believe that this might be an inaccurate use of the word within the context of what it is that you are wanting to achieve but I wanted to give you guys the opportunity to explain the finer points of the above statement to me. 😊

Thank you kindly for your attention in these matters and I hope for a constructive conversation to follow!

Sincerely,

@wil.metcalfe

Individualized and organic engagement is a different thing.

A copy and paste template and step by step can always use refinement.
