As we all know, as a result of the pandemic, almost everyone in the world became unemployed, many because they were not permanent, because their bosses had to temporarily close their premises, others because they no longer opened their offices, like me. At that time I was working in a family home, because I still did not have my papers in order here in Peru-Trujillo, where I was in charge of taking care of a 3 year old baby and cleaning the whole house.

My work schedule was from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., where I gained the affection of the homeowners and their closest relatives, everything was going very well until the Covid pandemic arrived. Restrictions began, you could only go out until a certain time, you could only go shopping some days. At that time I lived alone, I only knew the neighbors who lived in the same residence where I was renting. They were not working at their jobs because they had closed, but the only one who was still working was me.

I was like that for several months, although there were restrictions, I still went to work, since I needed to work to be able to pay my rent and have enough to eat. Until one day when I went to work I met the baby's father, mother and grandmother who were on their way to the doctor's. They told me not to go to work because they were going to take the baby to the doctor. They told me not to go to work because they were going to take the baby to his other grandmother's house, since they woke up sick, with high fever, chest pains, nasal congestion, and suspected by the symptoms that maybe it was Covid, and to prevent me from catching it they told me not to go until they recovered.

Well, I had no choice but to go back home and from that moment on, start thinking about where to work, what to do, I could not stay idle because I had to pay my rent. One day I told a lady who worked as a cleaner at the veterinarian where I worked the first year I entered Peru, I told her that I had no job and needed money, she told me that if I was willing to sell homemade yogurt. Immediately I did not think about it and I said yes, since I needed to work urgently.

Bien comencé vendiendo mis yogurt por la página del Facebook ya que realmente sentía un poco de vergüenza ir a la calle, pero en vista que no se vendían mucho me vi en la obligación de ir a la calle, felizmente podía trabajar de eso ya que los únicos que tenían permiso de estar a las calles eran los que trabajaban en ese rubro de comidas. Los Supermercados, restaurantes, mercados municipales, carnicerías entre otros, no me quedo de otra opción que ir al mercado para vender mis yogurt, arme una caja para colocar mis productos, conseguí una carrucha ( Carrito de 2 ruedas), y me fui a vender, no me van a creer que ese día vendió todos mis yogurts, ya a las 10 de la mañana me fui a mi casa muy feliz.

Well I started selling my yogurt through the Facebook page because I really felt a little embarrassed to go to the street, but in view that they did not sell much I was forced to go to the street, happily I could work that since the only ones who were allowed to be on the streets were those who worked in that area of food. Supermarkets, restaurants, municipal markets, butchers among others, I had no choice but to go to the market to sell my yogurt, I put together a box to place my products, I got a cart (2-wheel cart), and I went to sell, I will not believe that day sold all my yogurts, and at 10 am I went home very happy.

al día siguiente tuve más motivación de ir a vender, ya que el día anterior comprobé que si se podía y que me fue muy bien, nuevamente arme mi caja y me fui a él mercado pero esta vez más temprano con mucho más ánimo, llegue y volví a vender todo. Así estuve por varios meses, pero como todos saben las cosas no siempre son color de rosas, con el verano los yogurts se me estaban fermentando por lo caliente del clima, no los colocaba en la nevara porque para ese entonces no tenía, vendía por unos días hasta que tome la decisión de dejar las ventas ya que me estaba ocasionando problemas con los clientes, me reclamaban que estaba vendiendo un producto dañado.

The next day I had more motivation to go to sell, since the day before I proved that it was possible and that I did very well, again I put my box together and went to the market but this time earlier with much more encouragement, I arrived and sold everything again. I was like that for several months, but as everyone knows things are not always rosy, with the summer the yogurts were fermenting because of the hot weather, I did not put them in the refrigerator because by then I did not have any, I sold for a few days until I decided to stop selling because it was causing me problems with customers, they complained that I was selling a damaged product.

por todo eso desistí de vender los yogurt, otra vez sin empleo, luego una paciente que conocí en la veterinaria me contacto por el Facebook y me comenta si estaba necesitando trabajar le dije que si, me recomendó un trabajo en una tienda de ventas de accesorios de celular, me paso el número del dueño converse con el y me cito al día siguiente para la entrevista. El día siguiente asistí a mi entrevista y quede seleccionada para el puesto, trabaje por varias semanas aquí en Trujillo Perú, luego mi jefe me comento que el tenía otra tienda pero en Huamachuco un lugar muy bonito, super relajado, el cual queda a 4 horas de Trujillo.

Because of all that I gave up selling yogurt, again unemployed, then a patient I met at the veterinarian contacted me through Facebook and told me if I needed to work, I said yes, he recommended me a job in a store selling cell phone accessories, he gave me the number of the owner and I talked to him and he gave me an appointment the next day for the interview. The next day I attended my interview and was selected for the position, I worked for several weeks here in Trujillo Peru, then my boss told me that he had another store but in Huamachuco a very nice place, super relaxed, which is 4 hours from Trujillo.

Me pregunto que si yo aceptaba ir a trabajar para esa provincia. Lo pensé y como estaba sola, decidí que si y me atreví a vivir esa aventura por la sierra. Llego el día y me traslade a Huamachuco, allí me encargaba de la tienda, sus ventas de artículos para impresoras, laptops, ventas de accesorios para celulares y cámaras de seguridad, Mi jefe me enseñó como instalar sistemas continuos a las impresoras, reparar las mismas y a formatear, la verdad aprendí bastante, Estuve allí por mucho tiempo, solo iba a Trujillo en mis días de descanso ya que trabajaba 15 por 15.

He asked me if I would accept to go to work in that province. I thought about it and since I was alone, I decided yes and I dared to live that adventure in the highlands. The day came and I moved to Huamachuco, there I was in charge of the store, sales of items for printers, laptops, sales of accessories for cell phones and security cameras, My boss taught me how to install continuous systems to printers, repair them and to format, the truth I learned a lot, I was there for a long time, I only went to Trujillo on my days off because I worked 15 by 15.

A los 4 meses de estar allí, a mi jefe le salió un trabajo extra de instalar cámaras de seguridad en una casa que estaba situada en Cajamarca Perú. El me dijo que necesitaba que lo acompañará ya que yo era su asistente en la parte de administración, nos fuimos al día siguiente, allí comenzó mi aventura. Porque más que un viaje de trabajo, aproveche para conocer algunos lugares de ese hermoso pueblo llamado Cajamarca. Déjenme decirle que me fascinó, me encantó, allí estuve por la iglesia de Cajamarca, visite la subida de la Apolonia, visite el cuarto de rescate donde se encontraba el inca Atahualpa, visité a los 12 incas, fui a varios restaurantes y por supuesto me traje un recuerdo de esa hermosa ciudad, a parte de las fotos. Ya luego me toco retornar a Huamachuco. Amigos de hive, si en algún momento de sus vidas desean viajar les recomiendo Cajamarca es una hermosa ciudad muy buena para relajarse por un buen tiempo.

After 4 months of being there, my boss got an extra job to install security cameras in a house that was located in Cajamarca Peru. He told me that he needed me to accompany him since I was his assistant in the administration part, we left the next day, there began my adventure. Because more than a work trip, I took the opportunity to know some places of that beautiful town called Cajamarca. Let me tell you that I was fascinated, I loved it, I visited the church of Cajamarca, I visited the ascent of Apolonia, I visited the rescue room where the Inca Atahualpa was, I visited the 12 Incas, I went to several restaurants and of course I brought a souvenir of that beautiful city, apart from the photos. Then I had to return to Huamachuco. Friends of hive, if at some point in your lives you want to travel I recommend Cajamarca is a beautiful city very good to relax for a good time.
