Skeleton Assassin Animated Style

To create the fan art of the "Skeleton Assassin" from Splinterlands, I started with the sketch. This initial stage is crucial, as it allows me to establish the basic structure of the drawing and capture the dynamic pose of the character. I used light, quick strokes to define the silhouette of the skeleton, paying special attention to the posture and proportion of the limbs. The scarf and scarf were added as key details that would give movement and personality to the character.

With the sketch in place, I moved on to outlining. Here, I focused on refining the lines and giving them more definition. I used a finer brush to outline the contours of the skeleton and its accessories. This step is essential to ensure that all the elements of the character are clear and well defined. Each bone, the stylized scythe, and the additional small scythe were carefully outlined to maintain accuracy and detail.

The next step was coloring. I chose a color palette that reflected the spectral nature of the Skeleton Assassin. I started by applying a bone-colored base tone to the skull and limbs of the skeleton. For the scarf and scarf, I selected a deep blue to contrast with the lighter tones of the skeleton. The scythes were colored with dark metallic tones, and I added a touch of blue on the bell to maintain chromatic cohesion.

Applying shadows was a meticulous process that added depth and dimension to the drawing. I used soft, gradual shadows to highlight the curvatures of the bones and give them a more realistic appearance. The darker shadows were concentrated in areas where natural light would not reach, such as under the scarf and in the crevices of the skull. I also applied shadows around the scythes and hands to accentuate their firm, lethal grip.

Finally, I came to the glitter stage. Adding shimmers is one of my favorite steps, as it really brings the drawing to life. I used a soft brush to add subtle shimmers to the skull and limbs of the skeleton, focusing on the edges where the light would naturally reflect. The eyes, with their intense blue, were given a special touch of glitter to make them stand out and suggest an inner glow. I also added highlights to the scythes, particularly the bell and sharp edges, to give them a polished metallic look.

From the initial sketch to the final glossy touches, each stage contributed to creating an image that is not only visually appealing, but also reflects the mysterious and lethal nature of the skeleton assassin.

Finalmente, llegué a la etapa de los brillos. Añadir brillos es uno de mis pasos favoritos, ya que realmente hace que el dibujo cobre vida. Utilicé un pincel suave para añadir brillos sutiles en el cráneo y las extremidades del esqueleto, enfocándome en los bordes donde la luz se reflejaría de forma natural. Los ojos, con su azul intenso, recibieron un toque especial de brillo para que destacaran y sugirieran un brillo interno. También añadí reflejos en las guadañas, particularmente en la campanilla y los bordes afilados, para darles una apariencia metálica pulida.
