We have heard it all before, but it's always nice to have some throwbacks and reminisce. Crypto Twitter is probably the best place to hang around if you're looking to stay updated with the latest developments in the industry. It's also the place to go if you're looking for some of the best crypto memes circulating out there.

Sometimes the best memes are the ones that weren't even meant to be memes. History always repeats itself, but that works for us in this case.

DeFi, NFTs, PTE, etc; so much has changed since then. Everybody's wondering where we are in the current market cycle and what kind of cycle it actually is, but what about the technology cycle? Cause it's clearly a mega cycle as far as I'm concerned.

Just look around and see how much progress is being made on a daily basis and how many incredible innovations are currently in the works. It feels like the game is just getting started once again. Crypto is a new chapter in international finance opened thanks to the revolutionary technology behind it all.

Which is now opening a new chapter within that chapter. Crazy how far we have come.

Isn't this absolutely reasonable though? There's limitless potential and we are just beginning to scratch the surface. Roughly 12 years in and we have found so many different ways to monetize information and generate value. Wealth makes the world go round, and we now possess the tools to increase the rate at which we produce it.

Not only that, we have also increased the rate at which we produce technical knowledge on an annual basis. The figures keep going up, and considering that our ability to produce, store and process information is the real reason for all this growth, I think it's safe to assume that the ability to monetize said information in an instant stands zero chance of being overlooked in the years to come.

It's an endless loop of advancement fueled by growth which brings more advancement. Rinse, lather, repeat.

The powers that be have already realized that, and this is why they are now coming to terms with the fact that this is not a temporary movement. All that's left for them is to try and grab their piece of the pie, and it's up to you and me to make sure they get it at the right price.

The real reasons most of us want to see the industry succeed go deeper than just financial gain, and this is more than obvious nowadays with all the restrictions of all sorts in place. But let's face it, this is exactly what keeps the gigachads entering the fray motivated. Whatever the weather, two birds with one stone for the rest of us.

When in doubt, just zoom out.

No idea what happens next month or next year, but I'm damn sure what happens next decade. The technology is just way too powerful and already publicly available. Not a single case in human history where we collectively decided to ignore the creation of advanced tools and chose to stick with obsolete means of getting the job done.

It's in our nature to always strive for advancement and in our best interest to find more and more ways of utilizing transparent, permissionless networks in order to transfer knowledge and value. The problems we are currently solving and the problems we will solve in the future using this tech will inevitably lead to astonishing growth of the space.

Do not be surprised if you see some of the biggest enemies of crypto jumping ship and doing mental gymnastics in the future. And be nice to them; we all deserve a second chance.
