Greetings dear weekend party community, I hope you have had a wonderful time during the last weekends that have been clearly festive worldwide, since with Christmas and the New Year positioned right on weekdays, the celebrations are hot and they spread hahaha, today I want to share a bit of my family celebration that took place last weekend. The reason for this celebration was the 11th birthday of my niece Sophie, who is the daughter of my older sister @ciresophen. Every year her parents usually hold a small meeting for her in a very intimate and familiar plan, attended by my parents, my other nephews, two little cousins ​​and about 4 children who live in the building where my niece lives and who are therefore friends from Sophie.

My cousin @mainegriss lately has been in charge of preparing the cakes for family gatherings and honestly they look great on her, perhaps her decoration is not the neatest since it is not something she does professionally, but the taste is extraordinary and everyone in The family is happy with the progress that has been made with the decorations of the cakes. For this occasion, Sophie's cake was built on two levels, small but with a considerable height in pink and grass green colors. It was decorated with figures of puppies since my niece loves animals, her dream is to be a veterinarian in the future. In addition, grated white chocolate, colored gum and chocolate drops were placed to finish decorating and give it a rich flavor, the final result was wonderful.

The meeting was attended by my parents, Sophie's maternal grandmother, her brothers, her parents, 2 neighbors, a friend of my sister and one of Sophie's classmates. The meeting took place in the afternoon, the atmosphere was lively, I had been arriving from a trip since I was doing some errands far from my city in another state, so I went directly to my sister's house to accompany my niece on her day. special. They welcomed me with some delicious snacks that my sister prepared and since I was hungry I didn't like them at all, hahaha, they also made me a delicious orange cocktail with vodka (my sister's favorite cire) and my sister is an expert serving the glasses.

That's how the afternoon went, listening to music and telling anecdotes among the relatives, also eating since a few snacks were prepared for the occasion, Sophie's grandmother was in charge of making some popcorn for the children of which I also ate, they were my favorite part of the whole thing.

The time has come to sing happy birthday to my niece and one of her paternal aunts, who is currently in another country, gave her a video call to be in one way or another pending in such a special, intimate and family moment. Sophie was so excited about her puppy cake, and she blew out the candles so happily she nearly burned her face and if you don't believe me you can see for yourself in the gif below.

I must say that this was a very enjoyable weekend with the family, we are all happy to celebrate my niece's life for a consecutive year and we wholeheartedly hope to continue sharing moments like this with her for many more years to come. I am a fan of this type of gatherings because they are very calm, enjoyable and also because you eat a lot hahahaha (you understand the reason for my extra kilos) I hope you also enjoyed the weekend!
