Saludos amigos, esta es la primera publicación que hago para esta comunidad de succulent growers. Quiero compartir con ustedes el inicio de una serie de actividades que he planificado con mi esposa para mostrar las diferentes variedades de suculentas y cactus, que se encuentran por la región donde habito, además quiero resaltar que cada una de las macetas que vamos a utilizar la fabricaremos en casa con arcilla y algún envase reutilizable.

Greetings friends, this is the first post I make for this community of succulent growers. I want to share with you the beginning of a series of activities that I have planned with my wife to show the different varieties of succulents and cacti, which are found in the region where I live, I also want to highlight that each of the pots that we are going to use is We will make at home with clay and some reusable container.

Iniciamos trasplantando unos cactus, en unas pequeñas macetas que fabricamos en casa. Para el trasplante necesitamos sustrato, macetas, tijeras, un pedazo de malla plástica, una cuchara y grava para decorar. El sustrato que utilizamos se preparo con arena de rio y humus de lombriz.

We started by transplanting some cacti in small pots that we make at home. For the transplant we need substrate, pots, scissors, a piece of plastic mesh, a spoon and gravel to decorate. The substrate we use was prepared with river sand and worm castings.
