π The LMAC School - Acquire the Skills to Bring Your Ideas to Life π©βπ¨π¨βπ¨
ππΌ Learn how to create your next LMAC masterpiece!
Have you ever been stuck on an idea for an LMAC collage because you lacked the technical skills to realize it?
Then welcome to the LMAC School! Our curriculum is designed to help you unleash your full creative potential!
The weekly LMAC challenge enjoys the submissions of a great variety of imaginative collages. Sometimes it's little tricks and tweeks that make a collage stand out. Other times a completely new technique is needed to realize a certain idea.
The LMAC School aims to give every Hiver and LMACian the opportunity to gradually expand their technical skills so that only their own imagination sets the limit when making digital collages.
To achieve this ambitious goal, the LMAC School naturally needs skilled and committed instructors. And so it's with great pleasure to announce that the LMAC School could win over community member and pixel artist @quantumg to cover the first classes of our curriculum!
To make the LMAC School accessible to everyone, our courses will be based solely on free software solutions, such as Gimp.

This is a great initiative and something that I felt I was lacking in the beginning. I got helped from the community founders and I could better my artistic works, but having this focus school topics can assist everybody leverage the right tool to make great works.
This community gets better and better, keep on this right path!
Ein absoluter Spitzen Service. GroΓartig. π
I think for users who don't have the CPU power, GIMP is the perfect solution like mine :D , Adobe works very slow so I use GIMP 2.1 to do the editing work.
I'm really amazed by the idea of these tutorials and somewhere, some chapters I'm looking forward to learn too, Learning never stops after all! :D
Greetings, excellent initiative, I believe that no community has a school for the same user to make publications. I also congratulate you for taking into account free software like Gimp.
What a brilliant idea! The kind of 'school' one can dip into in moments of frustration, or in more peaceful moments of aspiration.
Good for the community, good to build community.
Very good idea! It's a great way to learn art with artists
wow, so cool, I actually wanted to enter before but the technical side of things prevented it. I have no excuse now ;)
I really like this!
Happy to hear that!
"How to work with layers" will be out tomorrow. I made slow progress because of a vacation trip and bad hardware.
Awesome, thanks for the heads up! Keep enjoying your holidays!
The tutorial "What are the principles of light and shadow in a picture?" became a bit more extensive than I initially thought. But I am now slowly coming to the end of my work. I'll publish it tomorrow night.
Another tutorial for the curriculum. :-)

The next tutorial is already in work since a few days.
Oh, I missed that one! will put it into the curriculum right away. Thanks so much for your work!
The #Lmac community is a school of art.
I would like if possible Photoshop tutorials @shaka , I think @tonac is the right one.
I know photoshop is paid, but many users use the portable version.
I would also like to make tutorials of Lunapic, Pixl and other programs.
So that the Hivers have a variety of options to make their collage.
Thank you for mentioning me Eve! I'd like to participate, but wasn't quite active last 2 weeks so I'm out of focus atm.
nice job
