Bible Exposition on the 4th Oct 2021

I want share and summarize all I learnt from today's teaching;

Luk 10 vs 27-28; And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

In those days people kill for hatred but now they even human like them for fun, and our primary commandments is to love God and our neighbors as our self's not to kill.

2 Tim 3 vs 1-4;This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

We are in the last days, now people prefer doing evil than good, they love darkness than light

John 3 vs 19;And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

I also learnt that
When we are dead, our good works will save us

James 2 vs 22;Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Faith in Christ is coupled with good work.

2 Pet 1 vs 5-8;And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Don't just say you believe, work it out with good work. Some will preach that you don't need good work,

Eph 2 vs 8-9;For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

We are the workmanship of God

You can boast in your good work, body without spirit is dead likewise faith without work is dead

James 2 vs 26; For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Christ for us is lord and we believed.

Christ never stops Thomas from calling him Lord
He came to the world inform of human, he was begotten by the father,

Psalm 2 vs 7;I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

I learnt also that
Theirs no thousands of earthily year to heavens in the bible
What the bible is saying is that no matter how long you live, it will be small compare to the heavens, its not really specific
Rev 8 vs 1;There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

If you will be faithful to God you will have a longer day, eternal day is not like the earthly

We shouldn't judge anyone outside the church,

The one righteous before man might be unrighteous before God and the unrighteous before man maybe righteous before God,

Rom 2 vs 13;(for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Even if you just listened to the word without working, you will not be justified
Some gentiles by nature do the law, so It is wrong to judge the gentiles, it is the will of God that all man be save

It is prohibited by God to bow to any images
