E nessa primeira edição iremos analisar "Uloth Dhampir" da edição RiftWatchers. Então vamos ao que interessa...
Hello guys! This is "In Focus", a series of articles analyzing a card in various aspects, such as lore, status in each level, synergies with other cards, prices and etc.
And in this first issue we will be reviewing "Uloth Dhampir" from the RiftWatchers edition. So let's get down to business...
Apresentação || Presentation
O Uloth Dhampir é um monstro ranged do splinter verde. A carta é mais uma da raça Dhampir que surgiu no nosso jogo com a edição chaos legion. Os Dhampir são metade vampiros e no caso do Uloth é meio vampiro meio orc.
A carta é uma das 38 cartas da minicoleção RiftWatcher, essa edição trouxe 12 cartas raras e 6 cartas do deck verde sendo o Uloth uma das raras desse splinter.
The Uloth Dhampir is a ranged green splinter monster. The card is another one of the Dhampir race that appeared in our game with the chaos legion edition. Dhampirs are half vampire and in Uloth's case it's half vampire half orc.
The card is one of the 38 cards in the RiftWatcher mini-set, this edition brought 12 rare cards and 6 cards from the green deck, with Uloth being one of the rares of this splinter.
Lore
"No que diz respeito aos orcs de jade, os Uloth são bastante pouco convencionais. Ao contrário de outras tribos em Anumun, que são comumente hermíticas e territoriais por natureza, os Uloth viajam pelas terras e recebem forasteiros. Eles são altamente civilizados e desaprovam a violência, embora não se oponham à caça para subsistência ou ao uso de armas em autodefesa.
Por causa da cultura de aceitação dos Uloth, muitos orcs dhampir – descendentes de uma orc fêmea e um orc macho infectado com vampirismo – escolhem chamar a tribo de seu lar. "As far as jade orcs go, The Uloth are quite unconventional. Unlike other tribes on Anumun, which are commonly hermitic and territorial in nature, the Uloth travel the lands and welcome outsiders. They are highly civilized and disapprove of violence, although they are not opposed to hunting wild game for subsistence or taking up arms in self-defense.
Because of the Uloth’s culture of acceptance, many orc dhampir—the offspring of a female orc and a male orc infected with vampirism—choose to call the tribe their home. They look much like any other orc, although they are more slender and agile. One could even be forgiven for mistaking the sharp fangs that protrude from their jaws for the tusks of a typical orc. What gives them away is their eyes; they are a haunting, glazed yellow that holds a hint of their ancient and reviled heritage.
Like many of their tribe, the uloth dhampir are highly proficient with the hoopak, a tall stave topped with a deadly sling.
Following the Chaos Legion’s arrival, the Uloth were furious at the wanton destruction of their lands. They headed for Praetoria to take up arms against the invaders."
Status
Pela imagem acima você pode ver os status gerais da nossa carta em foco, então vamos destacar ela nos leveis máximos para prata, ouro e diamante/champion.
From the image above you can see the general status of our card in focus, so let's highlight it at the maximum levels for silver, gold and diamond/champion.
>Prata || Silver
Para a liga prata o Uloth tem 4 de dano Ranged, 2 de velocidade e 9 de vida.
A habilidade stun esta presente desde o lvl 1 e da um diferencial pra liga prata.
O fato de a carta custar 9 de mana e ser uma ranged faz com que ela só seja eficaz em partidas com muita mana, mas nessas partidas ela causa um bom dano e ainda pode stunar o adversário.
For the silver league Uloth has 4 Ranged damage, 2 Speed and 9 Health.
The stun skill is present since lvl 1 and gives a differential to silver alloy.
The fact that the card costs 9 mana and is a ranged makes it only effective in games with a lot of mana, but in those games it does good damage and can still stun the opponent.
Ouro || Gold
Nessa liga o level máximo para cartas raras é 6 e o Uloth ganha a habilidade Triage e 1 de velocidade.
Com as 2 habilidades o Uloth se torna um excelente suporte, além de stunar pode curar os aliados na linha de trás. E ainda tem um ataque excelente.
In this league the maximum level for rare cards is 6 and Uloth gains the Triage skill and 1 speed.
With the 2 skills Uloth becomes an excellent support, in addition to stunar can heal allies in the back line. And it still has an excellent attack.
Diamante/Champion || Diamond/Champion
Agora no nível máximo o Uloth atinge incríveis 5 de ataque e mantem suas habilidades de suporte, alem disso acrescenta 1 na vida comparado a liga anterior.
Embora sejam bons acréscimos, acredito esse é o level onde o Uloth é mais fraco considerando as outras cartas do mesmo nível.
Now at max level Uloth reaches an incredible 5 attack and maintains its support abilities, plus it adds 1 health compared to the previous league.
Although they are good additions, I believe this is the level where Uloth is weakest considering the other cards of the same level.
Sinergias || Synergies
Fernheart
Primeiramente temos a sinergia mais obvia pra qual a carta provavelmente foi criada, com o summoner novo, Fernheart, que torna uma carta de ataque altíssimo que serve como suporte e não deixa de atacar nem se ficar sozinho na primeira posição sendo assim sendo uma boa sinergia em qualquer level.
First, we have the most obvious synergy for which the card was probably created, with the new summoner, Fernheart, which makes it a very high attack card that serves as a support and doesn't stop attacking even if it's alone in the first position, thus being a good synergy at any level.
Obsidian+Mycelic Slipspawn
Utilizando o Uloth em uma formação magica com o Obsidian de summoner e o Mycelic na ultima posição o Uloth serve como suporte de vida para o Mycelic tornando ele mais durável enquanto o time causa dano e o dano do Uloth é um bom acréscimo ofensivo.
Obviamente para essa estratégia funcionar é necessário a habilidade triage, portanto apenas funcionaria para o level gold pra cima.
Using Uloth in a magical formation with Obsidian as summoner and Mycelic in the last position, Uloth serves as life support for Mycelic making him more durable while the team deals damage and Uloth's damage is a good offensive addition.
Obviously, for this strategy to work, the triage skill is needed, so it would only work for gold level and up.

Conclusões || Conclusions
Depois de analisar essa nova carta acredito que ela é uma boa escolha em situações especificas e muito boa na liga de ouro.
Claro que como a maioria das cartas dessa edição se faz necessário que tenha muita mana disponível para utilizar, mas em partidas com muita mana ela se torna muito útil!

After analyzing this new card I believe it is a good choice in specific situations and very good in the gold league.
Of course, like most cards in this edition, it is necessary to have a lot of mana available to use, but in games with a lot of mana it becomes very useful!
