The Illicit Trade in Precious Metals
Many people must understand that the trade of silver and other precious materials brings many problems for the government, and this is the topic I want to focus on today. Considering that silver is a valuable material and in high demand by jewelry manufacturers, the trade of illegal silver has caused many problems for governments, particularly in some third world countries where illegal miners take control of the mines, creating a major issue for the governments.
Financial Problems in Companies that Use Silver
Regulations in third world countries are really loose, and we must also take into account that in less developed countries, we may find more advanced crime with regard to armament than in other more developed countries. This point is very important, as the gold mines in countries such as Colombia are under the control of paramilitary groups, leading to a war between the military forces commanded by the government and the autonomous army. This is really interesting, but unfortunately, there is a lot of suffering caused by the illegal trade of silver.
It is necessary for developed countries to implement regulatory measures and strong sanctions against these types of events. It is also important to understand that financial assistance in case of loss is really important. This is where the World Bank takes on an important role in providing financial support to address these types of problems faced by first world countries.
The illegal trade of silver is a global problem that we have to face with strong sanctions and regulations. I agree with the need to increase cooperation between nations in order to combat the groups involved in these types of hostile acts.

It is important to address the issue of illegal trade of precious materials like silver, gold etc which poses significant challenges for governments and companies. The lack of regulations in some countries has allowed illegal miners to take control of mines, creating problems for governments and leading to armed conflicts. The biggest problem Ghana is facing now. It is crucial that developed countries implement strict regulatory measures and sanctions against these activities to prevent further harm.
