My Actifit Report Card: September 11 2022
What it looked like this morning out on the disc golf driving range:
We had a really fun round today. All of us played better than we did last week in the disc golf tournament. My son played seven throws better and my friend and I both did better by a throw.
I talked the organizers into giving me my scrip early. I felt like a kid asking for his allowance early, lol. I ended up getting a new Divergent Golem disc with it. This is in the same Stayput plastic that I recently got my Alpas disc from the same manufacturer. I was wanting to try this disc out because it feels a lot like a Harp and I like the Stayput plastic. I have thrown it a few times already and I like it a lot. For now, it has bumped the Pig out of the bag.
Actually, my new disc is in Stayput Glow plastic. I'm not sure if there is a difference but sometimes the Glow plastic is a bit more stable and grippy. The disc does feel somewhat less floppy than my Alpas disc but that might be because of the difference in the disc design.
Tomorrow my friend and I have decided to take things easy. I might play a short nine-hole round or just practice my putting. It seems to be better to take some downtime every other day so as not to have any injuries.
There was just a bit of smoke and the sun was an orange ball while we were driving down to the disc golf course. It did clear up a bit as we were playing and it turned out nice.

It has been bad off and on around here. I think it was a bit clearer down by the ocean so it felt alright.
I'm glad your area has somewhat cleaner air! Winds have shifted today and our air quality has gotten much better! I'm sure someone is getting the smoke the fire is still out of control!
