Spirits of the past times

Did you know that we, the photographers, are magicians?

That's true because we are the only people who could capture ghosts, as you could see in my photos below. Yes, the fact is we catch them ghosts only visually ;) But that doesn't make it less worth it, does it?

Here are few, five, to be more precise, long-exposure monochromatic pictures I made with the help of few friends at the "Etar" ethnographical museum near Gabrovo, Bulgaria. In order to achieve that result I spent some time observing the average speed people walked here and measure it so I select the best shutter speed to get the artistic effect I was looking for.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything.
