Hello friends, it has been 2 years since I last came to Maturin. I must confess that that time I came, it gave me a little sadness and depression, it was not the same city where I was born, although it was not the most beautiful, it was not the same as I left it.

In fact, as I went with Vero, I warned her that I would see very ugly and abandoned things with time and poverty. What was my surprise? To find a Maturin (my city), totally renovated and beautiful. I was surprised, so much so, that she told me it was a very beautiful city. I even passed by some central places and they were totally changed and very well taken care of.

I was able to walk along Bolivar Avenue, which is completely remodeled. Some time ago they did a remodeling project of facades and all were uniform with the same design which is very beautiful.

The cathedral was remodeled, they put air conditioning and lights on the outside that make it look dazzling. The sports center is amazing, they placed screens and food places, it also has police surveillance all day so it is very safe to be there. I hope to return and be able to take more pictures of more places, since I only went for one night!

Hola amigos, hace 2 años que no venía a Maturín. Debo confesar que esa vez que vine, me dio un poco de tristeza y depresión, no era la misma ciudad en donde nací, que a pesar que no era la más bonita, no estaba ni igual a como la dejé.

De hecho, como fui con Vero, le advertí que vería cosas muy feas y abandonadas con el tiempo y la pobreza. Cuál fue mi sorpresa? Encontrarme a una Maturín (mi ciudad), totalmente renovada y hermosa. Me quedé sorprendida, tanto así, que ella me dijo que era una ciudad muy bonita. Hasta la pasé por algunos lugares céntricos y estaban totalmente cambiados y muy bien cuidados.

Pude recorrerla por la Avenida Bolivar, que está totalmente remodelada. Hace un tiempo hicieron un proyecto de remodelación de fachadas y todas quedaron uniformes con un mismo diseño lo cual se ven muy hermosas.

La catedral la remodelaron, le colocaron aire acondicionado y luces en el exterior que la hacen ver deslumbrante. El polideportivo está increíble, colocaron pantallas y sitios de comida, además cuenta con vigilancia policial todo el día por lo que es muy seguro estar allí. Espero volver y poder tomar más fotos de más lugares, ya que solo fui por una noche!
