Eating Like God In Asia

Yesterday on Good Friday it was slightly rainy but still a pleasant atmosphere which invited me to have lunch out.
Especially after the tasty schnitzel in the fresh air on Wednesday lunch experience.
It was time to eat in a restaurant again, even a healthy person has an appetite now and then.
I quickly asked my friend if he would like to have lunch. Of course he joined us.

The restaurant was still a little busy, which was due to the 11.45 a.m. hour.
When we left the place later, all hell broke loose.

A quick, cooridnated look at the menu and what a little pearl I discovered.
An Umami house beer on tap.
I had never heard, read or even tasted this before.
It tastes deliciously light with a slightly sour aftertaste, which I didn't know before and which I like very much.
I didn't expect to get such a great, new, mega-exclusive beer for lunch.

Well, it can only really get going at lunch.

I have ordered
FISH POT pickled grilled salmon fillet on celery, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, beans, courgettes, peppers, ginger & garlic. Finished with caramelised soy sauce. Served with kimchi & jasmine long grain rice - €9.9

Top Fresh fish, incredibly juicy. a dreamy sauce and the vegetables also a delight.
For sure the rice has been perfect too.
Delicious doesn't always have to be unhealthy.

and my friend
GOLDEN POULARDE chicken fillet in a golden coconut curry. Boiled down with sweet potato, hokkaido squash, carrots, potatoes, ginger & lemongrass. Served with jasmine long grain rice - €9.8.

That was apparently more than OK too. The chicken fillet was also super tender and juicy.

All together for a very fair 26.40 euros.
