Italian A League Football Championship Results: 17th round + Fantasy Football Olio di Balena: Results and Statistics After 15th Round

Monday, December 13, 2021 ended the seventeenth round of the Italian soccer league Serie A with the final whistle of the match between Roma and Spezia that ended with the result of 2 to 0 for Roma.

In this round there were no matches involving teams in the first 8 positions in the standings and therefore there were no "Big Matches" but the surprises were certainly not lacking and the standings have changed compared to the previous round and the colors of the team first in the standings have also changed.

Let's see now all the results of the 17th round of the Italian soccer championship of Serie A (following image).

The first match played was Genoa - Sampdoria, the derby of the city of Genova, a match very felt by the two teams and the two fans.
Sampdoria won with the result of 1-3 thanks to the goals of Manolo Gabbiadini (seventh minute of the first half) and Francesco Caputo (fourth minute of the second half) and thanks to the own goal of Zinho Vandheusden at the 67th minute of the second half.
Genoa scores its only goal of the match with Mattia Destro in the 79th minute of the second half.
Genoa collects its third consecutive defeat while Sampdoria returns to victory after two defeats.

The first surprise of the day is the defeat of Napoli in its stadium by Empoli.
It's the second consecutive defeat for the team coached by Luciano Spalletti that after having occupied the first place for a long time now finds itself in fourth place.
It was an unlucky match for Napoli that had the highest ball possession (61%), shot more than Empoli (6 shots against 5 shots) hitting a crossbar and a goal pole but failed to score a goal.
Among other things, Cutrone's goal was the result of a rebound by a Napoli defender that hit Cutrone's head and he scored in a very lucky and unintentional way.

The second surprise of the day is Milan's draw against Udinese.
Only a goal in full recovery time (in the 90+2 minute) by Zlatan Ibrahimovic saves Milan from a defeat that, looking at the statistics of the match, would have been deserved because Udinese, even if they had a much lower ball possession than Milan, was more cynical and dangerous: 11 total shots, 6 of which in the mirror of the goal.
In 90 minutes, Milan shot only once in Udinese's goal and scored.

Juventus also draws but the negative results of the team that has dominated the Italian championship for so many years are no longer a surprise this season.
Sassuolo, after having stopped Napoli and Milan, wins against Maurizio Sarri's Lazio, whose performance continues to be fluctuating.
Inter wins and convinces and takes the first place beating Cagliari with the result of 4 goals to 0.
Excellent victory of Atalanta against Verona that is worth the third place in the standings.

In the following image you can see the ranking of the Italian soccer league Serie A that sees in the first three positions three teams from the Lombardy region with Inter in the first place with 40 points.

Fantasy Football "Olio di Balena"

On Hive there is a competition that is related to the Serie A soccer league: the fantasy football of the community "Olio di Balena".

The organizer of the fantasy soccer is @poliwalt10 while I am a simple participant and my team is called HIVEntus FC.
The fantasy football competition started with the third round of the Italian Serie A and has now reached the fifteenth day of play.
In the following image you can see the updated ranking after fifteen rounds of play.

All of the fantasy coaches are also Hive users and that's an added value.

I had fun to create a graph that shows the trend of the positions in the ranking day by day for each team participating in fantasy football.

Description Chart:

On the x-axis there are the game days indicated by the respective numbers.
Each line of the graph corresponds to a specific position in the ranking and the first line from the top indicates the first place.
Each team is identified by a line of a precise color that allows you to easily follow the trend, day after day, of the ranking of each team.
On the right there are the names of the teams participating in fantasy soccer and each line ends near the name of the corresponding team.

The round just ended did not produce many changes in the standings.
Only two teams have changed their position in the standings: Fanta Vision - Gimbo Edition and The Rock Rams.

Fanta Vision - Gimbo Edition after only one day takes back the fifth place recovering two positions.
The Rock Rams loses two positions in the standings and slips to seventh place.

For four consecutive rounds of play, the top four positions have been occupied by the same teams.
HIVEntus FC has occupied the first place for six consecutive rounds of play.
Filarb Team has held the second place for five consecutive rounds.
GianLFC and FC Corto Muso have been in third and fourth place respectively for four consecutive rounds of play.

Let's see now the distances in points between the teams after 15 rounds of play.

In the following table there is the distance in points that separates each team from the first place.

The ranking continues to lengthen because the distance in points between the first posot (HIVEntus FC) and the last posot (Zottoni) is 160 points while at the end of the previous round it was 138.5 points.
The teams in the first two positions are getting closer and closer and the 20 point gap of the previous round is now 15.5.

Taking as a unit of measure a gap of less than 20 points we can identify 5 blocks in the standings:

  • HIVEntus FC and Filarb Team form the first block and are separated by 15.5 points.
  • GianLFC and FC Corto Muso form the second block because they are separated by only 4 points.
  • FantaVision - Gimbo Edition, Paris San Gennaro and The Rock Rams form the third block.
    The Rock Rams in seventh has 7.5 points less than FantaVision - Gimbo Edition in fifth.
    The three teams are enclosed in a range of 4 points: the shortest distance from first place is 60.5 points while the longest is 64.5 points.
  • Cosenza: 92 points away from first place (- 80 points after the previous round).
  • Zottoni: 160 points away from the first place (- 138.5 points after the previous round).

The two best results of the fifteenth round of play

The two best results of game round 15 were obtained by the same and identical teams that had obtained the two best results at the end of the previous round: Filarb Team and HIVEntus.

  • Filarb Team: 81.5 points (4 goals scored (+12), 1 goal conceded (-3))
  • HIVEntus: 77 points (3 goals scored (+9) , 1 assist (+1), 1 goal conceded (-3))

The players who gave the most contribution to Filarb Team were:

  • Vlahovic (Striker - Fiorentina): 2 goals - Total score: 14 points
  • Simeone (Striker - Verona): 1 goal - Total score: 10 points
  • Bonaventura (Midfielder - Fiorentina): 1 goal - Total score: 10 points

Prize Distribution

The entry fee for fantasy football is 80 HIVE.
I used the present verb because registrations are still open even though the competition has been going on for 12 rounds and because there are two payment methods:

  • single payment
  • two payments: 40 HIVE at the moment of registration and 40 HIVE before the end of the first leg of the Serie A football season.

All the registration fees flow into the final prize pool which is managed by the @pw10 account.
With 9 participants the final prize pool will be 720 HIVE and there will be three positions definitely awarded but the distribution of the prize pool has not yet been decided.
The organizer @poliwalt10 has not yet decided the distribution of prizes because he wants it to be a decision taken democratically by all participants.
In case it was decided for four prize positions the prize distribution would be as shown in the following image.

The first place winner would take 288 HIVE, the second 216 HIVE, the third 144 HIVE and the fourth would receive just under the entry fee 72 HIVE.

In the case of deciding on three prize positions the distribution could be as shown in the next image.

Conclusion

Since six consecutive days my HIVEntus is at the first place of the ranking but since three consecutive days the Filarb Team has reduced the gap from the first place: 21,5 points - 20 points - 15,5 points.
15.5 points are a lot in a real football competition but in a fantasy football competition are very few.
Recovering even 100 points is a possible mission because the current balances are easily subverted because the rhythm of the matches of the Serie A soccer league is sustained and injuries are always a possible unexpected.
To demonstrate this it is sufficient to note that only 10 game rounds ago my HIVEntus was in eighth place in the standings while now it is in first place.
Eight game rounds ago Filarb Team was in sixth place in the standings while now it is firmly in second place and is steadily approaching first place.
After nine rounds of play Paris San Gennaro Team was in first place while today, after 15 rounds of play, it is in sixth place.
After five days of play Fanta Vision - Gimbo Edition was in last place in the standings while today it is in fifth place.

The current edition of fantasy soccer has completed 15 rounds of play out of 36 total so anything can still happen.

What will happen at the end of the next round?

Tomorrow, December 16 at 18:30 will start the first match of the eighteenth round of the Italian soccer league Seria A (Lazio - Genoa).
The last match scheduled is the challenge between AC Milan and Napoli, which is also the Big Match of the eighteenth round.

Napoli will try to redeem the two last defeats in the league while Milan will try not to lose more points from Inter that instead will have a game, at least on paper, easy as it meets Salernitana that is the team last in the standings.

In the following image you can see all the matches scheduled for the next round of the Serie A that will begin Friday, December 17 and will end Sunday, December 19, 2021 with the final whistle of the match between Milan and Napoli.

Winning is always nice but participating is more important and it's even more important to have fun and playing the fantasy football of Olio di Balena the fun is assured ;)

Risultati Serie A: Giornata 17 + Fantacalcio Olio di Balena: Risultati e Statistiche dopo 15 Giornate di Gioco

Lunedi 13 dicembre 2021 è terminato il diciassettesimo turno del campionato italiano di calcio della serie A con il triplice fischio finale della partita tra Roma e Spezia che è terminata con il risultato di 2 a 0 per la Roma.

In questo turno non ci sono state partite che hanno coinvolto squadre nelle prime 8 posizioni in classifica e quindi non ci sono stati "Big Matches" ma le sorprese non sono certo mancate e la classifica è cambiata rispetto al precedente turno di gioco e sono cambiati anche i colori della squadra prima in classifica.

Vediamo subito tutti i risultati del turno di gioco numero 17 del campionato italiano di calcio della seria A (immagine seguente).

La prima partita disputata è stata Genoa - Sampdoria, il derby della citta di Genova, partita molto sentita dalle due squadre e dalle due tifoserie.
Ha vinto la Sampdoria con il risultato di 1-3 grazie ai gol di Manolo Gabbiadini (settimo minuto del primo tempo) e Francesco Caputo (quarto minuto del secondo tempo) e grazie all'autogol di Zinho Vandheusden al sessantasettesimo minuto del secondo tempo.
Il Genoa segna il suo unico gol della partita con Mattia Destro al 79° minuto del secondo tempo.
Il Genoa colleziona la sua terza sconfitta consecutiva mentre la Sampdoria ritorna alla vittoria dopo due sconfitte.

La prima sorpresa della giornata è la sconfitta del Napoli nel suo stadio ad opera dell'Empoli.
E' la seconda sconfitta consecutiva per la squadra allenata da Luciano Spalletti che dopo aver occupato il primo posto per tanto tempo adesso si ritrova al quarto posto.
E' stata una partita sfortunata per il Napoli che ha avuto il maggior possesso palla (61%), ha tirato nello specchio della porta più dell'Empoli (6 tiri contro 5 tiri) colpendo anche una traversa e un palo ma non è riuscito a segnare neanche un gol.
Tra l'altro il gol di Cutrone è nato da una ribatutta del difensore del Napoli che colpisce la testa di Cutrone che segna in modo davvero fortunoso e involontario.

La seconda sorpresa della giornata è il pareggio del Milan contro l'Udinese.
Solo un gol in pieno recupero (al minuto 90+2) di Zlatan Ibrahimovic salva il Milan da una sconfitta che guardando le statistiche della partita sarebbe stata meritata perchè l'Udinese anche se ha avuto un possesso palla nettamente inferiore al Milan è stata più cinica e pericolosa: 11 tiri totali di cui 6 nello specchio della porta.
Il Milan in novanta minuti ha tirato una sola volta nello specchio della porta dell'Udinese e ha fatto gol.

Pareggia anche la Juventus ma i risultati negativi della squadra che per tanti anni ha dominato il campionato italiano non sono più una sorpresa in questa stagione.
Il Sassuolo dopo aver fermato Napoli e Milan vince con la Lazio di Maurizio Sarri il cui rendimento continua ad essere altalenante.
Vince e convince l'Inter che si prende il primo posto battando il Cagliari con il risultato di 4 reti a 0.
Ottima vittoria dell'Atalanta contro il Verona che vale il terzo posto in classifica.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la classifica del campionato italiano di calcio della Serie A che vede nelle prime tre posizioni tre squadre della regione Lombardia con al comando l'Inter con 40 punti.

Il Fantacalcio della Comunità di Olio di Balena

Su Hive c'è una competizione che è collegata al campionato di calcio della serie A: il Fantacalcio della comunità di Olio di Balena.

L'organizzatore del fantacalcio è @poliwalt10 mentre io sono un semplice partecipante e la mia squadra si chiama HIVEntus FC.
La competizione fantacalcistica è iniziata con il terzo turno del campionato italiano di Serie A ed è arrivata alla quindicesima giornata di gioco conclusa.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la classifica aggiornata dopo quindici turni di gioco.

Mi sono divertito a creare un grafico che mostra l'andamento delle posizioni in classifica giornata dopo giornata per ogni squadra partecipante al fantacalcio.

Descrizione Grafico:
Sull'asse delle x ci sono le giornate indicate dai rispettivi numeri.
Ogni riga del grafico corrisponde ad una determinata posizione della classifica e la prima riga partendo dall'alto indica il primo posto
Ogni squadra è identificata da una linea di un colore preciso che permette di seguire facilmente l'andamento, giornata dopo giornata, della posizione in classifica di ogni squadra.
Sulla destra ci sono i nomi delle squadre partecipanti al fantacalcio e ogni linea termina vicino al nome della squadra corrispondente.

Il turno appena concluso non ha prodotto stravolgimenti delle posizioni in classifica.
Solo due squadre cambiano la loro posizione in classifica: Fanta Vision - Gimbo Edition e The Rock Rams.

Fanta Vision - Gimbo Edition dopo una sola giornata si riprende il quinto posto recuperando due posizioni.
The Rock Rams perde due posizioni in classifica e scivola al settimo posto.

Da quattro turni di gioco consecutivi le prime quattro posizioni sono occupate dalle stesse squadre.
HIVEntus FC occupa il primo posto da sei turni di gioco consecutivi.
Filarb Team mantiene il secondo posto da 5 turni consecutivi.
GianLFC e FC Corto Muso occupano rispettivamente la terza e quarta posizione in classifica da quattro turni di gioco consecutivi.

Vediamo adesso le distanze in punti tra le squadre dopo 15 turni di gioco.

Nella tabella seguente c'è il distacco in punti che separa ogni squadra dal primo posto.

La classifica continua ad allungarsi perchè la distanza in punti tra il primo posot (HIVEntus FC) e l'ultimo posot (Zottoni) è di 160 punti mentre alla fine del turno precedente era di 138.5 punti.
Le squadre nelle prime due posizioni sono sempre più vicine e i 20 punti di distacco del turno precedente ora sono 15,5.

Prendendo come unità di misura un distacco inferiore a 20 punti possiamo individuare 5 blocchi in classifica:

  • HIVEntus FC e Filarb Team formano il primo blocco e sono separate da 15,5 punti.
  • GianLFC e FC Corto Muso formano il secondo blocco perchè sono distaccate da solo 4 punti.
  • FantaVision - Gimbo Edition, Paris San Gennaro e The Rock Rams formano il terzo blocco.

I due migliori risultati del turno di gioco numero 15 li hanno ottenuti le stesse e identiche squadre che avevano ottenuto i due migliori risultati alla fine del turno precedente: Filarb Team e HIVEntus.

  • Filarb Team: 81.5 punti (4 gol segnati (+12), 1 gol subito (-3))
  • HIVEntus: 77 punti (3 gol segnati (+9) , 1 assist (+1), 1 gol subito (-3))

Distribuzione Premi

La quota d'iscrizione del Fantacalcio della comunità di Olio di Balena è di 80 HIVE.
Ho usato il verbo presente perchè le iscrizioni sono ancora aperte anche se la competizione è iniziata da 12 turni di gioco e perchè le modalità di pagamento sono due:

  • singola rata
  • due rate: 40 HIVE al momento dell'iscrizione e 40 HIVE prima della fine del girone di andata del campionato di calcio della Serie A.

Tutte le quote d'iscrizione confluiscono nel montepremi finale che è gestito dall'account @pw10.
Con 9 partecipanti il montepremi finale sarà di 720 HIVE e saranno tre le posizioni sicuramente premiate ma la distribuzione finale del montepremi non è stata ancora decisa.
L'organizzatore @poliwalt10 non ha ancora deciso la distribuzione dei premi perchè vuole che sia una decisione presa democraticamente da tutti i partecipanti.
Nel caso si decidesse per quattro posizioni premiate la distribuzione dei premi sarebbe quella indicata nell'immagine seguente.

Il primo classificato prenderebbe 288 HIVE, il secondo 216 HIVE, il terzo 144 HIVE e il quarto riceverebbe poco meno della quota di iscrizione 72 HIVE.

Nel caso si decidesse per tre posizioni premiate la distribuzione dei premi potrebbe essere quella indicata nella successiva immagine.

Conclusione

Da sei giornate consecutive la mia HIVEntus è al primo posto della classifica ma da tre giornate consecutive la squadra Filarb Team ha ridotto il distacco dal primo posto: 21,5 punti - 20 punti - 15,5 punti.
15,5 punti sono tanti in una competizione calcistisca reale ma in una competizione fantacalcistica sono pochissimi.
Recuperare anche 100 punti è una missione possibile perchè gli equilibri attuali sono facilmente sovvertibili perchè il ritmo delle partite del campionato di calcio della Serie A è sostenuto e gli infortuni sono sempre un imprevisto possibile.
A dimostrazione di questo è sufficiente constatare che solo 10 turni di gioco precedenti la mia HIVEntus era all'ottavo posto in classifica mentre ora è al primo posto.
Otto turni di gioco fa Filarb Team occupava il sesto posto in classifica mentre ora è saldamente al secondo posto e si stà costantemente avvicinando al primo posto.
Dopo nove turni di gioco la squadra Paris San Gennaro era al primo posto mentre oggi, dopo 15 turni di gioco, è al sesto posto.
Dopo cinque giornate di gioco Fanta Vision - Gimbo Edition era all'ultimo posto in classifica mentre oggi è al quinto posto.

L'edizione in corso del fantacalcio ha completato 15 turni di gioco su 36 totali e quindi tutto può ancora succedere.

Cosa succederà alla fine del prossimo turno di gioco?

Domani 16 dicembre alle ore 18:30 inizierà la prima partita del diciottesimo turno del campionato di calcio italiano della Seria A (Lazio - Genoa).
L'ultima partita in programma è la sfida tra Milan e Napoli che è anche il Big Match del diciottesimo turno.

Il Napoli cercherà di riscattare le due ultime sconfitte in campionato mentre il Milan cercherà di non perdere ulteriori punti dal'Inter che invece avrà una partita, almeno sulla carta, facile poichè incontra la Salernitana che è la squadra ultima in classifica.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutte le partite in programma per il prossimo turno della Serie A che inizierà venerdi 17 dicembre e terminerà domenica 19 dicembre 2021 con il triplice fischio finale della partita tra Milan e Napoli.

Vincere è sempre bello ma partecipare è più importante e lo è ancora di più divertirsi e giocando al Fantacalcio di Olio di Balena il divertimento è assicurato ;)

Sono d'accordo, vincere fa sempre bene, ma se c'è un vincitore c'è un perdente, devi accettare le sconfitte e continuare non solo in giochi come questo, ma anche nella vita stessa.
Un post molto completo e di facile comprensione.
