Catarsis: Decepcionada del sistema educativo de mi país.(ESP/ENG)

Hoy quisiera desahogarme con algo que me ha tenido decepcionada desde hace mucho tiempo, y se trata de como el sistema educativo está matando la educación de nuestro país.

Desde hace tiempo se le ha dado muchas facilidades a los estudiantes de secundaria para que aprueben las áreas de formación y eso no está mal, sin embargo cuando esa facilidad lo llevan al extremo trae consigo consecuencias que siento que al ministerio de educación no le interesa, pués a simple vista se entiende que ellos quieren cantidad y no calidad.

Today I would like to unburden myself with something that has been disappointing me for a long time, and it is about how the education system is killing the education of our country.

For some time now, high school students have been given a lot of facilities to pass the areas of training and that is not bad, however, when this facility is taken to the extreme it brings with it consequences that I feel that the ministry of education is not interested in because at first glance it is understood that they want quantity and not quality.

Desde mi experiencia puedo enumerar algunas de las consecuencias:

1) Estudiantes de buen promedio bajan su intéres por realizar las actividades:

Tengo estudiantes que son muy buenos y me han hecho saber que ya no vale la pena esforzarce realizando las tareas para entregarlas a tiempó, pues se han dado cuenta que al final siempre les dan la oportunidad a los que no lo hicieron para que las entreguen y lo peor que algunos terminan saliendo mejor que ellos cuando la entregan el dia indicado. Esto se debe a que luego de finalizar un lapso o momento, hay que hacer un proceso llamado superacion pegagógica y alli se nivela a los estudiantes que no aprobaran el área, por consiguiente se les vuelve a hacer las actividades correspondiente a los contenidos donde no alcanzaron la nota minima.

Nunca estuve de acuerdo con esa resolución, pués, cada vez que se le hace una actividad de algún contenido cuando salen aplazados se le debe hacer la recuperacion a esa actividad, es decir aplicar el art. 112, ya allí se le da la oportunidad a que se recuperen. Pero no, eso no es suficiente para el ministerio y hay que darle otra oportrunidad más la cual fue el invento de la resolución 6696, llamada superación pedagógica.

Y no significa que yo quiera aplazar a los estudiantes o que no quiera estar haciendo más actividades, sino que hay que darle valor al esfuerzo y la responsabilidad.

From my experience I can list some of the consequences:

I have students who are very good and have let me know that it is no longer worth the effort to do the homework to deliver it on time because they have realized that in the end they always give the opportunity to those who did not do it to deliver it and the worst thing is that some end up doing better than them when they deliver it on the indicated day. This is due to the fact that after finishing a lapse or moment, there is a process called "superacion pegagógica" and there the students who did not pass the area are leveled, therefore the activities corresponding to the contents where they did not reach the minimum grade are done again.

I never agreed with that resolution, because, every time an activity of some content is done when they are deferred, they should make the recovery of that activity, that is to say, apply art. 112, and there they are given the opportunity to recover. But no, that is not enough for the ministry and it is necessary to give them another opportunity, which was the invention of resolution 6696, called pedagogical improvement.

And it doesn't mean that I want to postpone the students or that I don't want to be doing more activities, but that we have to give value to effort and responsibility.

2)Estudiantes que asisten solo unas cuantas veces a la institución y luego esperan el proceso de superaciopn pegaógica para asistir:

En los ultimos años esto está ocuirriendo muy seguido nos encontramos estudiantes que solo asisten de manera muy irregular al colegio y solo se aparecen cuando empieza el proceso de superación pedagógica, hacen las actividades y listo aprueban, generalmente aprueban con la nota mínima, sin embargo no es justo para el que siempre asistió y tambien aprobó con la nota mínima.

Y se preguntarán por qué lo dejan que presente o por qué le hacen el examen fácil para que apruebe, les cuento que por lo menos donde trabajo las actas que se les hace a esos estudiantes al final no valen , solo las de los que no asistieron ni una sola vez a clases,pero si ellos tienen nota o asistencia en cualquiera otra área a la tuya ya tiene derecho a presentar. y se preguntará y como es que aprueba si no va a clases, pues antes de hacer el proceso de superación se les debe dar una clase remedial y se le explican los contenidos que no consolidó nuevamente y luego se le aplica las actividades.

In recent years this is happening very often we find students who only attend school very irregularly and only appear when the process of pedagogical improvement begins, they do the activities and then they pass, they usually pass with the minimum grade, however, it is not fair to those who always attended and also passed with the minimum grade.

And you may wonder why they let him/her present or why they make the exam easy for him/her to pass, I will tell you that at least where I work, the reports that are made to those students at the end are not valid, only those who did not attend classes even once, but if they have a grade or attendance in any other area to yours, he/she has the right to present. And you will ask yourself how is it that you approve if you do not go to classes, before making the process of overcoming they should be given a remedial class and the contents that did not consolidate are explained again, and then the activities are applied.

3) Estudiantes frustados en la universidad:

No se imaginan la tristeza que me da cuando me encuentro a ex-estudiantes de buen promedio en la calle y cuando le pregunto como les ha ido , me dicen que mal porque no han podido aprobar el trayecto introductorio, pórque no aprobaron matemáticas. ☹️

Y esto ocurre porque casi que nos tienen prohibido aplicar exámenes, sin embargo yo sí aplico pero solo uno por lapso, entonces los chamos se estan acostumbrando a que los evaluen de cualquier otra forma, ya sea en talleres, exposiciones, juegos, prácticas y cuando se van a una universidad y se enfrentan a un parcial se encuentran con una pared que los detiene y se frustan porque no estan acostumbrados algunos logran seguir adelante sin embargo la mayoria terminan frustandose y se retiran, pues ya no esta la facilidad de que le vana repetir una prueba mas de una vez si aplazan.

Sin darse cuenta el sistema educativo de la secundaria en la actualidad no está preparando a los estudiantes para enfrentar la universidad.

3) Frustrated students in the university:.

You can't imagine how sad it makes me when I meet former students with a good average in the street and when I ask them how they have been doing, they tell me that it's bad because they couldn't pass the introductory course because they didn't pass math. ☹️

this happens because we are almost forbidden to apply for exams, however, I do apply but only once per term, then the kids are getting used to being evaluated in any other way, either in workshops, exhibitions, games, practices, and when they go to a university and face a partial they find a wall that stops them and get frustrated because they are not used to some manage to go ahead but most end up getting frustrated and withdraw because there is no longer the facility that they are going to repeat a test more than once if they postpone.

Without realizing it, the current high school education system is not preparing students to face college.

Por otro lado nos acaba de llegar otra resolución por orden de zona donde dice que debemos atender y aplicarle actividades a los estudiantes que estan repitiendo y que además esas actividades no deben ser exámenes. Y que se debe buscar todas la estrategias para que el estudiante apruebe, es decir, que todos deben de pasar al año siguiente sin importar si estan repitiendo con todoas las materias.😲

On the other hand, we have just received another resolution by order of the zone where it says that we must attend and apply activities to the students who are repeating and that these activities should not be exams. And that all strategies must be sought for the student to pass, that is to say, all students must pass to the following year regardless of whether they are repeating all subjects.

Entonces una vez más el ministerio está echando a tierra el trabajo que se hizo el año escolar pasado, las actas levantadas a los estudiantes que no asistieron al proceso de reparación quedaron sin válidez. entonces no tengo idea para que piden que hagamos actas sinal final del cuento no valdrán nada.

So once again the ministry is throwing away the work that was done last school year, the reports taken from students who did not attend the repair process were invalid. so I have no idea why they ask us to make reports if at the end of the story they are not worth anything.

La mayoria de los estudiantes que estan repitiendo, lo estan haciendo por inasistencias, y los que si asistieron y presentaron se les dio 4 oportunidades en el proceso de reparación y si no púdieron cumplir es porque realmente no estan preparado para pasar a otro nivel. Pero como les dije al principio lo que se quiere es cantidad y no calidad no importa nada.

Que les den la oportunidad a los que estan repitiendo con 3 materias está bien pero ya a los que tienen todoas la materias ya eso es avaricia.

Most of the students who are repeating, are doing so because of absences, and those who did attend and presented were given 4 opportunities in the remediation process if they could not comply is because they are not really prepared to move to another level. But as I said at the beginning, what they want is the quantity and not quality, no matter what.

To give the opportunity to those who are repeating 3 subjects is fine but to those who have all the subjects is greed.

Para finalizar tengo muy presente y entiendo que nosostros como docentes somos los que debemos de brindar una educación de calidad, pero cuando se tiene un sistema que lo que hace es atarte las manos, y pisotear tu trabajo no es mucho lo que se puede hacer.

Mientras tanto seguiré dando lo mejor de mí para que mis estudiantes aprendan lo más que puedan. sin embargo necesitaba desahogarme y drenar una inconformidad que necesitaba expresar ya que mi patrono no le interesa mis opiniones aprovecho de hacerlo por esta ventana que nos da hive.

In conclusion, I am very aware and understand that we as teachers are the ones who must provide quality education, but when you have a system that ties your hands and tramples on your work, there is not much you can do.

In the meantime I will continue to give my best so that my students learn as much as they can. however I needed to vent and drain a dissatisfaction that I needed to express since my employer is not interested in my opinions, I take the opportunity to do it through this window that hive gives us.
