Wednesday Sketch
Better late than never.
I've been busy with a new painting, so I haven't been punctual with posting lately. Once I dive into a painting, my focus becomes a rather singular.
I'll have to schedule in time today for the next sketch.
But for now, back to the easel.

There is mastery of values, you are a great academic and cartoonist. You can see the scale of values in all its variants although the high average key predominates, it has the exact contrast to look very beautiful the sketch congratulations @leoplaw, although I am more devoted to your paintings.
Thank you Denis! I prefer painting, but the sketches are quick and easy exercises. I guess I could do acrylic painting sketches.
Yes, you have a magnificent technique. It would be very nice to see your color work more often.
I'll mull over the idea of (colour) acrylic sketches.
Yes it’s sound magnificent idea 💡. I am looking forward to it.
It's a constant battle working on whatever it is you need to be working on vs trying to produce something good for the social medias isn't it XD
Indeed it is a battle. Although lately I've had advice to recycle content on the other social media platforms, simply because people have the attention of a goldfish these days.
However, that does not play out true on Hive, and I've seen friends punished for recycling content here.
Recycling as in posting stuff that's also posted on other socnets or recycled as in they reposted golden oldies from back when they were new accounts and didn't get as much love? Both?
I remember when cross-posting to different sites was the thing to do when collecting audiences.
Recycling as in close up details and more info about the artwork. They were punished with heavy downvotes for "raping" the reword pool with "unoriginal" content. Yet said executioner posted no original content themselves.
Yes, we have been somewhat imprisoned in social media platform prisons haven't we?
