Happy, colorful and festive weekend
Greetings my Hivers friends, nice to stop by and share with you how my weekend was; which was very colorful and cheerful since in my country (Venezuela) on Sunday the 21st we celebrated Children's Day; So, being their day and having two girls, I obviously celebrate it with greater spirit.
One of the things I did in advance was to deliver the children's day gift on Saturday afternoon, it came from their father who lives outside the country. They were very happy with their detail loaded with many things that they needed and were practical for them, both for snacks and their cereals and milk, some beautiful Mickey Mouse mugs that they loved, like some hair combs, added to a line of treatment to show off beautiful hair. Then we went to the park to play for a while while we left the milk prepared and refrigerated and then enjoyed their snacks with the sugary cereal.
The park where they played is right next to our house and they spent some time there between swings, going up and down, like in other games that this one has; Seeing them smile and happy greatly makes my heart happy, which leads me to photographically capture each moment to keep as a memory over time, so that one day they can see their photos when they are little and do not forget those simple but happy moments.
Then, upon entering the house again, they had their cereal, we took a good bath since we were (including myself) a little sweaty and had a lot of dirt on our feet that got into our sandals. The night was about pizza and soft drinks accompanied by movies at home.
The next day of our weekend we got ready very early for the service at the congregation where we attended; Furthermore, the girls would present a theater and it was all in connection with this special date celebrated in our country this Sunday. When we arrived everything was so colorfully happy and colorful, you could feel the joy of being a boy and girl in every corner.
The morning was full of dancing, singing, theater, face painting, balloon twisting and much more. Those who really enjoyed it a lot on their day were each boy and girl who attended the special service for Children's Day, since there were still many things for them; such as sharing within their respective classrooms, with cake and snacks, added to a beautiful detail of a maxi palette with many sweets inside for them.
I took the opportunity to take some photos with my two princesses, I was so happy to see how at their young ages they are overcoming their fears, participating in activities like this and enjoying it from each rehearsal to the presentation.
In my personal opinion, a weekend full of the joy that characterizes the little ones in the house is priceless, it is something full of incalculable value, they are a wonderful gift from God to our lives and what better than to make them smile, to give them pleasant moments, full of joy and happiness, like the ones that they, in the midst of their innocence, also give us. The humility and simplicity of children is something so admirable, since whether it is with how much or how little we can give them, wrapped in love, they are content and embrace us with their hugs. Being a mother of two girls has undoubtedly not been an easy task, each day brings its learnings, but it is something that makes my heart beat with strength so that every day I can give the best of myself for them and support them in the good things in which they want. participate.
This was my happy weekend! My greatest desire in my heart is for all children to be surrounded by love, joy and fun, well cared for, loved, respected, protected and valued. Over there, I read something that says: All adults were first children, but few remember it (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry). Let us remember that one day each of us were, let us work in the generation that one day will take over from us so that they may be future good men and women; without pain or wounds in their hearts, that they can grow healthy physically and emotionally, each of us is responsible for this. Here are the lines of my weekend along with this phrase to culminate this content today:
“Children are like the sprouts of a garden and must be cultivated with care and affection, since they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow. Only through correct education can a better order of society be built.” – Jawaharlal Nehru
