Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 would make its appearance on November 16, 2004 in the United States and in Europe on December 3 of the same year, game released for the "PlayStation 2" Console. It is important to mention that this title would be the third in the legendary "Budokai" series.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 haría su aparición el 16 de noviembre del año 2004 en Estados Unidos y en Europa el 3 de diciembre del mismo año, juego lanzado para la Consola de la "PlayStation 2". Es importante mencionar que este título sería el tercero de la legendaria serie "Budokai".
When we talk about a game related to Dragon Ball Z, it is easy to imagine how its story can be. In "Budokai 3" the essence is maintained, the story practically revives everything that was Dragon Ball Z, from the saga of the Sayajines to the saga of Majin Buu.
The story from the first moment will give us to understand that we will be reincarnating all the legendary battles of "The Z Warriors".
Cuando hablamos de un juego referente a Dragón Ball Z es de imaginar como puede ser su historia. En el "Budokai 3" la esencia se mantiene, la historia prácticamente revive todo lo que fue Dragon Ball Z, desde la saga de los Sayajines hasta la saga de Majin Buu.
La historia desde el primer momento nos dará a entender que estaremos reencarnando todas las batallas legendarias de "Los Guerreros Z".
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 is a fighting game, its mechanics are focused on a gameplay with fast movements, combo powers, combo hits, flights and transformations. The controls are quite comfortable and very intuitive, in the fights the combos are easy to execute, although it can be said that there are some more complex than others. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 es un juego de peleas, sus mecánicas se centran en una jugabilidad con movimientos rápidos, combo de poderes, combo de golpes, vuelos y transformaciones. Los controles son bastante cómodos y muy intuitivos, en las peleas los combos son fáciles de ejecutar, aunque se puede decir que hay algunos más complejos que otros. El juego cuenta con tres tipos de habilidades especiales en cada uno de los personajes, un ejemplo claro de estas habilidades especiales podría ser un poder básico como el "Kamehameha", un ataque final el cual consta del ataque más poderoso del personaje que se esté usando, y la habilidad llamada "Dragon Rush", la cual trata de un combo automático con varias fases, el personaje que ataca tendrá los cuatro botones en cuestión de los cuales solo podrá seleccionar uno, por su parte el personaje que defiende tendrá que adivinar cuál de los botones ha seleccionado el atacante, de esta forma se determinara si la habilidad se ejecuta efectivamente para el que ataca o si el que se defiende termina por repeler el ataque.

Acotando algo más a la jugabilidad debo decir también que las peleas son sumamente rápidas, también encontraremos varios detalles bastante interesantes, como la configuración personalizada de los personajes en cuanto a las habilidades y su combo de poderes, también podremos hacer compras de nuevos personajes y cápsulas las cuales traen cosas geniales como nuevas transformaciones, poderes y hasta nuevas fusiones entre los personajes. Todo esto se puede conseguir mediante la moneda artificial del juego que se puede ir ganando a lo largo de la aventura.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 is a graphically beautiful game, with a unique aesthetic that makes it much better than its predecessors, I can say that its graphics represent faithfully to what was the original anime, you can get to feel that we are playing the anime itself rather than the game, adding also that the skills, transformations and finishing moves are visually cooler, everything looks really beautiful. I can also say that one of the most outstanding cinematics of the game and the section in general, are the explosions of the world, it looks so real and full of life that simply makes overflow nostalgia for everything that transmits the moment. Undoubtedly this is one or if not the best section of this great title.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 es un juego gráficamente hermoso, con una estética única que lo hace mucho mejor que sus antecesores, puedo decir que sus gráficos representan de forma fiel a lo que era el anime original, se puede llegar a sentir que más bien estamos jugando el propio anime en vez del juego, agregándole también que las habilidades, transformaciones y movimientos finales son visualmente más geniales, todo se ve realmente hermoso. Puedo decir también que una de las cinemáticas que más resalta del juego y del apartado en general, son las explosiones del mundo, se ve tan real y lleno de vida que simplemente hace desbordar nostalgia por todo lo que transmite el momento. Sin duda alguna este es uno o si no el mejor apartado de este gran título.
When talking about the musical themes of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 we can only say that they are simply subtle and very original, but when I say original I do not mean the melodies of the anime that we all know, but this title has a unique and original musicality that belongs only to the game, imparting a musical style of Metal Rock and some Techno. I can say that this soundtrack is excellent and gives a plus to those battles and epic moments of the game.
Cuando se habla de los temas musicales de Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 solo se puede decir que son sencillamente sutiles y muy originales, pero cuando digo originales no es que me refiera a las melodías del anime que todos conocemos, si no, que este título posee una musicalidad única y original que pertenece solo al juego, impartiendo un estilo musical de Rock Metalero y algo de Tecno. Puedo decir que esta banda sonora queda excelente y le da un plus a esas batallas y momentos épicos del juego.
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 ends up being a good fighting game where we can get into the skin of the character of our choice, with which we will live multiple battles throughout our adventure, remembering each of the scenes that marked our childhood.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 termina siendo un buen juego de peleas donde podremos entrar en la piel del personaje de nuestra preferencia, con el cual viviremos múltiples batallas a lo largo de nuestra aventura, recordando cada una de las escenas que marcaron nuestra infancia.
Sin duda alguna uno de los mejores títulos que más se asemeja a la gloriosa época de goku y sus amigos, este título se merece todas las oportunidades del mundo de ser jugado, yo no soy fanático de los juegos de peleas, pero eso no fue excusa para no poder jugar al Budokai 3. Este buen tituló vivirá por siempre y para siempre en mi baul de los recuerdos. Fin!

Es uno de los juegos más completos de toda la franquicia, Budokai Tenkaichi se refinó demasiado con cada una de sus secuelas, sería genial tener una secuela moderna.

De lo mejorcito de la PS2, aunque este en particular no lo llegué a jugar a mucho, jugué más el que la mayoría de nosotros ya conocemos, ni siquiera lo tengo que nombrar jaja.

El 3ero pues jaja, aunque el 2do es casi igual de bueno, al punto que no veo diferencias, sólo en la cantidad de personajes, ah y por un tiempo me gustó más el BT2 que el BT3, pero no me acuerdo por qué exactamente :v.

Yo llegue a probar el TENKAICHI 3, pero sentí los controles un tanto rígidos y la jugabilidad un tanto robótica también, pero igual son buenos, aunque me decanto más por esta entrega que reseñe xD

Budokai 3 was amazing game. I remember playing it and just loving how flashy and action packed it was, plus it was always awesome to see the transformations in the middle of a battle, rather than choosing between the transformation in a roster.
Of the whole Saga, Budokai 3 ends up being one of the most complete, the action of the powers and transformations are great, but the cinematics also end up being a very strong point of this title. Undoubtedly Budokai 3 ends up being the best of all.
Tremendo juego sin duda todavía hoy sigue siendo un juegazo para pasar con emulador a 4K que lo vuelve más disfrutable aún. Historia, gameplay y experiencia extremadamente bien diseñados. Creo que es, sino me equivoco, considerado uno de los mejores o el mejor de la saga! Gracias por compartir!
Totalmente de acuerdo. Para ser honesto nunca había tenido la oportunidad de jugar un Dragón Ball Z como este, mi experiencia anterior había sido con Dragon Ball GT de la PS1.
Fue solo hace unas pocas semanas que me baje el emulador y aproveche de bajármelo. Luego probé otros, pero el Budokai 3 sin duda alguna fue el mejor, ahí lo tengo aun para pasar el rato, los demás simplemente los elimine xD
