FIFA07 Online Tournament - UEFA Champions League (Edition 101) | Runner-up in La Liga with Real Madrid | The season is not over yet, let's go for more!
A little over a week ago I shared what I would start doing my first FIFA07 Online tournament from the start, I mentioned that when I played it for the first time I did it as a substitute, that tournament was already somewhat advanced, so I wanted to have the opportunity to play a tournament from the start. What I did not expect was that I would have the opportunity to participate in one and with the team of my preference, which is Real Madrid.
Hace un poco más de una semana compartí lo que empezaría hacer mi primer torneo de FIFA07 Online desde el inicio, mencione que cuando lo jugué por primera vez lo hice en condición de sustituto, ese torneo ya estaba algo avanzado, así que quería tener la oportunidad de jugar un torneo desde el inicio. Lo que si no me esperaba era que tendría la oportunidad de participar en uno y con el equipo de mi preferencia, que es el Real Madrid.
The season started with a very good first phase of the league for me, I think that the simple fact of being the D. Tecnico of Madrid, gave me a very high plus in my confidence to face the games. In this first phase of the league I was able to secure the third place, when I saw the final table of the first part of the league I was very excited, being among the top 3 of the tournament is no small thing, also taking into account the high level of veteran that exists in it.
For the second phase of the league, the "second leg" games would come, seeing how close I was to the first place, I got psyched and I was determined to win it, to be in the first place and to be able to win the league championship. Before the second phase there was a transfer market where most of them were able to make new signings to their squads, because of this the League by law was going to get a little more complicated.
La temporada dio inicio con una primera fase de liga muy buena para mí, creo que por el simple hecho de ser el D. Tecnico del Madrid, me dio un plus muy alto en mi confianza para afrontar los partidos. En esta primera fase de la Liga pude afianzarme con el tercer puesto, cuando vi esa tabla final de la primera parte de la liga me emocione mucho, estar entre los 3 mejores del torneo no es poca cosa, tomando en cuenta también en alto nivel de veteranía que existe en el mismo.
Para la segunda fase de la Liga vendrían los partidos de "Vuelta", al ver lo cerca que estaba del primer puesto me mentalice y me propuse a ganarlo, a quedar en el primer lugar y poder llevarme el campeonato de Liga. Antes de la segunda fase hubo un mercado de fichajes donde la mayoría pudieron hacer nuevas contrataciones a sus plantillas, debido a esto la Liga por ley se iba a poner un poco más complicada.
I decided to study the rivals before the matches and this helped me a lot, although I must say that there were some games where I had the control, but in the end I did not achieve the victory, I tied several and in the same way I also lost several that in the end I lost by very little. When the entire league phase came to an end, I already knew how many points I had achieved up to that moment, but I had to wait for the final table that when it was published filled me with a certain bitter emotion, and that is that I have been runner-up, I was tied in points with the Technical Director of Bayer Leverkusen, but by goal difference I ended up surpassing him in the final table.
Me dispuse a estudiar a los rivales antes de los partidos y esto me ayudo mucho, aunque debo decir que hubo algunos juegos donde tuve el control, pero que al final no me alcanzo para obtener la victoria, empate varios y del mismo modo también perdí varios que al final me pasaron factura por muy poco. Cuando toda la fase de liga llego a su final, de mi parte ya sabia cuantos puntos había conseguido hasta ese momento, pero debía esperar por esa tabla final que al ser publicada me lleno de una cierta emoción algo amarga, y es que he quedado Subcampeón, quede empatado en puntos con el D. Tecnico del Bayer Leverkusen, pero por diferencia de goles me termino superando en la tabla final.
Honestly, I feel very satisfied with my participation, although I am left with the feeling that I could have achieved the league title, for the moment I will have to settle for second place, but I will not stay like that, I will go for that league title in the next campaign.
Now I have to face the Tournament Cup, this cup will only be played by the 10 best teams placed in the final table of the League. For my part I have gone directly to the quarterfinals, I must wait for the winner of the "Play IN" key, this cup is very important in the tournament, so I will give my best.
Honestamente, me siento muy satisfecho con mi participación, aunque me quedo con la sensación de haber podido alcanzar el título de Liga, de momento tendré que conformarme con el segundo lugar, pero no me quedaré así, iré por ese título de liga en la próxima campaña.
Ahora me toca afrontar la Copa del Torneo, esta copa solo la jugarán los 10 mejores equipos ubicados en la tabla final de la Liga. Por mi parte he pasado directamente a los cuartos de final, debo esperar por el ganador de la llave del "Play IN", esta copa es muy importante en el torneo, así que daré lo mejor de mí.
