A pesar de todo, salieron premiadas | #HPUD [Esp/Eng]
Hola mi gente linda de esta comunidad de @motherhood. Espero todos estén teniendo un maravilloso día en familia, superando cada reto, que se nos presenta a diario. Ya comenzamos el mes de septiembre, en donde próximamente se acabarán las vacaciones escolares aquí en Venezuela, así que aprovechar lo que queda de vacaciones.
Hoy vengo a contarles una anécdota que me nos pasó el lunes. Ese día le puse una ropa que le hice a mano a mi princesa Ambar y quería que la modelara para tomar unas fotos para mi post del paso a paso. La idea era que solo lo modelara y luego quitársela para ponérsela cuando fuéramos a salir algún lado.
Cuando subimos al apartamento, recibo un mensaje de mis compañeras de trabajo, que habían cancelado la quincena, y Arianna, que tenía el oído afinado, escucho cuando se lo decía a Arístides, de una vez ella se apuntó a que saliéramos un rato, por lo menos a comprar pan, ya le conocía sus intenciones.
Estuvimos de acuerdo, día de pago, día de pan, es costumbre, todos estábamos arreglados, menos ella, je, je, je, así que se fue a cambiar como que fuera para una fiesta, se puso un vestido y me dijo que si no podíamos ir a comer helados.
Le dije que estaba bien, estando listos, nos fuimos caminando a una panadería que venden unos ricos panes, al llegar estaban ansiosas de que les comprara helados, que hay también venden.
Sin embargo, les dije siempre queriendo comer helados, vamos a comprar unos trozos de pizza que se veían buenísimos u otros panes dulces que también había. Ellas renuentes querían helados, así que estaban esperando que yo hiciera la cola para pagar los panes, por cierto cuando me los dieron me eché un susto, bueno, más bien una quemada, los panes estaban hirviendo, saliendo del horno.
Seguimos nuestro camino a una heladería que está nueva por el lugar y teníamos días queriendo ir, cuando vamos a dos pasos de la heladería se fue la luz, ¡No puede ser! Todo a oscuras, la heladería quedaba en el pasillo de un mini centro comercial. No sé, veía nada.
Les dije para irnos y ya Ambar iba a arrancar a llorar. Igual pasamos a ver por lo menos los precios, para venir en otro momento, la encargada dijo que no iban a atender, porque no podían pasar el punto sin electricidad.
Un señor, creo que era uno de los dueños que dijo, como le vas a decir eso, tú no sabes si trae divisas o efectivo. Yo, ni uno ni lo otro, lo que si tengo es para hacer pago móvil, así que dieron los datos para hacerlo y ¿qué creen? Tampoco tenía señal de datos para hacer el pago.
Ya las niñas se iban a poner intensas, no se podía hacer nada más. Pero a nadie le falta Dios, el señor dice, le daremos los helados y cuando lleguen a casa los pagan. ¡Oh, no mejor, cuánta confianza y amabilidad! Nos dio los datos, para hacer el pago, por el banco.
Los helados eran de paletas de frutas, Arianna quiso de durazno y a Ambar le escogí de Parchita con fresa, había varios toppings para echarle por encima, pero incrementaban la mitad del precio. Cuando les sacaron los helados, el señor le dice échenle algo de los toppings, esos tienen un valor adicional, pero sin luz no cuestan nada. ¡Qué suerte!.
¿Qué quieren, chocolate?, sí, contestaron las dos. Además, al de Ambar le echaron chispas de colores también, todo esto bajo la luz de las linternas de los teléfonos. Para poder ver, lo que hacían. Arianna por pena, no quiso que le echaran más, se parece a mí, la pena por delante, je, je, je.
Así que en plena oscuridad Arístides afinaba la vista para por lo menos tomar una foto, de tantas una fue la que quedó más decente, je, je, je. Luego afuera le tomamos otras, para que por lo menos se apreciaran los ricos helados, fruta pura, de verdad que estaban ricos.
Se los disfrutaron tanto, que ni me preocupé porque Ambar se estaba ensuciando toda la ropa y el Short nuevo era blanco para completar, no importa eso se lava y se le echa cloro. Se bañó toda de helado, porque al no ver luz, no nos pudimos quedar en el local, lo cerraron. Veníamos caminando con esos helados y con la brisa se le derretía todo. Por eso no compramos para nosotros, ya sabía que eso iba a pasar y tenía que estar pendiente de las niñas.
Bueno, como dice el título del post, hubo contratiempos, se fue la luz, las fotos no quedaron bien, pero lo importante fue que se comieron sus helados, se lo disfrutaron y les regalaron los toppings, además nos dieron chance de pagarlo después. No hubo llantos, ni berrinches.
Al llegar al apartamento, Arístides hizo un rico chocolate caliente y nos lo comimos con los panes que aún estaban tibios, suaves y ricos.

We are already starting the month of September, where soon the school vacations will be over here in Venezuela, so take advantage of what is left of the vacations.
Today I come to tell you an anecdote that happened to me on Monday. That day I put some clothes that I handmade for my princess Ambar and I wanted her to model it to take some pictures for my step by step post. The idea was for her to just model it and then take it off to wear it when we were going out somewhere.
When we went up to the apartment, I received a message from my coworkers, that they had canceled the fortnight, and Arianna, who had a good ear, listened when I told Aristides, she agreed to go out for a while, at least to buy bread, I already knew her intentions.
We agreed, payday, bread day, it is customary, we were all dressed up, except her, heh, heh, heh, heh, so she went to change as if she was going to a party, she put on a dress and told me if we could not go for ice cream.
I told her it was ok, being ready, we went walking to a bakery that sells delicious breads, when we arrived they were anxious for me to buy them ice cream, they also sell there.
However, I told them always wanting to eat ice cream, let's buy some pizza slices that looked great or other sweet breads that were also there. They reluctantly wanted ice cream, so they were waiting for me to stand in line to pay for the breads, by the way when they gave them to me I got a scare, well, more like a burn, the breads were boiling, coming out of the oven.
We continue our way to an ice cream shop that is new in the area and we had been wanting to go there for days, when we are two steps away from the ice cream shop the lights went out, it can't be! Everything was dark, the ice cream shop was in the hallway of a mini mall. I don't know, I couldn't see anything.
I told them to leave and Ambar was about to start crying. We still went in to at least see the prices, to come back another time, the manager said that they were not going to attend, because they could not pass the point without electricity.
A gentleman, I think he was one of the owners, said, how are you going to tell him that, you don't know if he brings foreign currency or cash. I, neither one nor the other, what I do have is to make a mobile payment, so they gave me the data to do it and what do you think? I didn't have a data signal to make the payment either.
The girls were about to get intense, nothing else could be done. But nobody lacks God, the gentleman says, we will give you the ice cream and when you get home you pay for it. Oh, no better, how much confidence and kindness! He gave us the data, to make the payment, by the bank.
The ice creams were fruit popsicles, Arianna wanted peach and Ambar wanted Parchita with strawberry, there were several toppings to put on top, but they were half the price. When they brought out the ice cream, the gentleman told her to add some of the toppings, those have an additional value, but without light they cost nothing. What luck.
What do they want, chocolate, yes, they both answered. In addition, they threw colored sprinkles on Ambar's as well, all this under the light of the phones' flashlights. So they could see what they were doing. Arianna, out of pity, didn't want them to throw any more, she looks like me, pity first, heh, heh, heh.
So in the dark Aristides sharpened his eyes to at least take a picture, one of so many was the most decent, heh, heh, heh, heh. Then outside we took others, so that at least we could appreciate the delicious ice creams, pure fruit, they were really delicious.
They enjoyed them so much, that I didn't even worry because Ambar was getting all her clothes dirty and the new Short was white to complete, it doesn't matter, we washed it and bleached it. She was bathed in ice cream, because we could not see the light, we could not stay in the store, it was closed. We were walking with those ice creams and with the breeze everything melted. That's why we didn't buy for us, I knew that was going to happen and I had to keep an eye on the girls.
Well, as the title of the post says, there were setbacks, the power went out, the pictures didn't look good, but the important thing was that they ate their ice cream, they enjoyed it and they were given the toppings, plus they gave us a chance to pay for it later. There was no crying, no tantrums.
When we arrived at the apartment, Aristides made a delicious hot chocolate and we ate it with the breads that were still warm, soft and delicious.

Eso es lo que se llama tener muy buena suerte. Quizás fue el traje nuevo de Ambar, el que hizo posible que todo saliera a pedir de boca a pesar del apagón.
Y la confianza del dueño, me alegró el día, porque no siempre uno se consigue con gente así
