Sketchbook Journal 103

Greetings and Happy Sunday✨️

Today was one of those days, woke up on the wrong side of the bed and of course, overthinking took over but I had to shut it off somehow. I reached for my sketchbook, I've wanted to draw noses in different angles for some time now and I'm glad I finally did it...
My initial plan was to draw only noses but when I was done with the seven sketches, I just felt like I didn't do enough and that page looked too empty so I did more...

Did you know that about 80% of what we perceive as taste actually comes from our sense of smell? Without smell, food would taste very bland. Did you also know that breathing through the nose is better for your lungs than breathing through the mouth? Why? Because the nose filters and humidifies the air.

Interesting!! Now I'm sitting here imagining how food would taste if we couldn't smell it, do you believe it though? Do you think food would taste awful without our sense of smell? Well 🤷

Process
I did a faint outline, made the lines thicker and added all the details to the nose. I then decided to draw more stuff to fill that page, eyes were the first thing that came to mind so I just went ahead and did four of them. The whole process was fun so I added some fishes, I wanted to do more but my back began to ache😫 bad posture will be the end of me. I hope you love this 💙
