I can still remember the first time I enjoyed this title. It was at the end of 2013. I had to study for exam. And I had a hard time paying attention to my studies with such a tremendous game. At one point I made a bad decision to play all night and go to school without sleeping. Luckily, that exam was passed 😅.

For those who don't remember. At one point Joel is presented with a VERY DIFFICULT dilemma. Sacrifice Ellie, who by that time was already seen as a daughter to him, in order to find a cure and save humanity. Remember that at the beginning of the game we are shown how he loses his biological daughter at the hands of a military man.

Other than that, I think the game is so good because it aged so well. If we think about it, this title is already 11 years old. It came out for PlayStation 3 and we already have version 5. Personally, to this day I feel that its graphics are very decent, even by today's standards. I think anyone could try it and it wouldn't feel like a game that is more than a decade old.
