Proving Max's power was harder than I thought.

Chloe kept us waiting at the diner when Max was talking with Joyce (Chloe's mother) and then the lady of the topic blessed us with her presence.

Joyce: Still can't believe you're a woman now. When I look at pictures of Chloe... (Chloe enters the diner) Speak of the devil.

Chloe was more of a man than a woman in her behavior. She walks like a man, talks like a man (not the voice), and behaves like a man.

After having a s*** chat with her mom, she changed the playlist of the jukebox there as she didn't like what was in play.

Returning to Max, Chloe asked about her (Max's) power and for proof that Max had power. The only way to prove her power was to tell what happens in the future as she can rewind time. It's like they'll live a moment, check everything out, rewind time like nothing happened, and then start talking about what was gonna happen.

So, Max said she'd say what Chloe had in her pocket. Both me and Max guessed wrong the first time as we didn't live at that time yet so Chloe put out everything from her pocket to check.

And that's when I checked on everything Chloe had in her pocket carefully. She had a keychain, a cigarette box, some coins, and a parking ticket. I was taking screenshots of them so I could check them later.

Then I did rewind the time and it was like nothing happened for Chloe but only me and Chloe knew what just happened. Then I started saying what she had in her pocket.

I talked bout the keychain but didn't know what was attached to the keychain. So, I checked the screenshot and found a panda and I said it.

When talking about the cigarette box, Chloe asked how many cigarettes were there in the box. I had to check again and it was 7 cigarettes.

Chloe asked how much money she had but I noticed only some coins. I had to check several times to see the amount and then I replied with the correct answer.

The last test was about talking about the parking slip and Chloe asked for the exact time. I checked it and replied with the correct one.

In the meantime, Joyce returned with the meal that Chloe asked for and then she left them as they were. Chloe was not satisfied with my proof. She was asking me for more.

Now this part was kind of hard for me although I didn't think it'd be that hard. Max said she'd say some occurrences that'll happen in the next moment.

I had to observe everything so I could tell them as they'd be after rewinding time.

After observing everything closely, I did rewind the time. I noticed -

• Someone named Trucker dropped his mug
• Justin and Trevor fought there and Joyce encouraged them to take the fight outside
• There was a cop inside and getting an alert on the Cop's radio, his partner left with the car
• Someone was talking about the jukebox going crazy but I didn't understand what's the cause.

Every time I was missing out on something and made a mistake with a point, I had to rewind and live the same moments again.

The first and second points were easier but the other parts were making me confused about the easier ones as well. I kept trying again and again which almost bored me at a point.

I guess I was making a big mistake with the jukebox thingy so I checked the options closely first and found...

Jukebox goes crazy

• as a cockroach crawls on it
• as a fly lands on it
• as a butterfly lands on it
• as the Trucker plays a new song

I was going with the last option all this time and then I noticed Trucker didn't even leave his place and the other options were weird. The thing was that I didn't even check on the jukebox so at last, I looked at the jukebox and noticed a cockroach crawling on it and made it crazy and I nailed it at last.

Max started losing blood through her nose and I guess its because of her using the power too much so I thought they'd stop now but Chloe was referring that they needs to go somewhere to see her in action so they left the table.

When we were about to leave the diner, Kate called Max and Chloe was blackmailing her talking about not taking someone else between them. I had the option to hang up the phone or go with her directly.

I chose to pick up the phone as Kate might be in danger and Chloe could wait as she's already a good friend I guess that went well although Chloe talked a little rudely after that.

Now it's time for them to find a lari to check what else Max can do. Let's talk about that in another post.
