Old Path bible exposition hold on 9th January, 2022. Via Zoom meeting

I thank the almighty God for the opportunity to be a pert of today's old path bible Exposition.

Brother Eli encouraged us to love God with all our hearts. Brother Eli said previously people kills out of anger. That killing was a fun thing to do. St. Paul said, a time will come when men shall be lovers of themselves and money and all sorts of irrelevant things.
Some of us have lost our spiritual value, we do all kinds of evil, killings, stealing and so many other immoral things,In the past people kill because they are angry, but now people kill for fun, someone going to steal from another man and end up killing the person after stealing.
spiritual value is lost by man evil deeds.

A question came up, about the founder of the church, I learnt that it's God that found the church. That is the church of God.
Like the bible said that except the lord builds a house, the builder builds in vain. Like some churches built by men are not following the way of God. Such churches worship idols, such as images made for themselves.
Colossians 1:18 made us to understand that Christ is the head of the body which is the church of God, who is the beginning.

I learnt that using milk makes a baby and that means when we find ourselves in such situations in church it means we are unskillful in the word of God. Hebrews 5:13
Infant baptism not a good practice of baptism, that one can't be baptized when he can't speak for himself. And also confirmation is the acceptance of Christ and living of a holy life.

I learnt not to entertain wrong relationship. that once we notice such relationship, we should put an end to it especially when it affects our family life.
1 Timothy 5:8. Any man that cannot provide for his house is worse than an infidel. we need to take responsibilities.
Brother Eli encourages us to listen to the word of God, and be born again by changing from our old ways of living.

love God with all our hearts with soul and strength, we should love God with all our minds and also love our neighbors as we love our selves, love is one of the major commandments that God gave in the Bible, that we should love man before we can love God, if we don’t love our fellow human there’s no way we can love God.
