Making of a blouse with ruffles on the sleeves and neckline /(ENG/ESP)
Hello dear friends crafters of this beautiful community, happy and prosperous start of the week, I hope you are all very well with your loved ones.
This weekend I was thinking among so many projects that I have pending that I was going to do for Monday needlework, so I decided to make another blouse from some fabrics that I bought last month, I have already made 2 of them and with this one it would be 3 so I am providing myself with blouses for a while, it is an effective way to save money.
It is a blouse that I had in mind since I saw it in a store near my house and as I like to sew I decided to make it. The blouse has ruffles on the sleeves and neckline that look quite beautiful for a unicolor blouse.
Without further ado, I am going to share with you another of my sewing experiences.

Hola queridos amigos artesanos de esta linda comunidad, feliz y prospero inicio de semana, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien al lado de sus seres queridos.
Este fin de semana estuve pensando entre tantos proyectos que tengo pendientes que iba a hacer para el lunes de aguja, así que decidí por hacerme otra blusa de unas telas que compre el mes pasado de las mismas ya me he hecho 2 y con esta serían 3 así que me estoy dotando de blusas para rato es un modo eficaz de ahorrar
Es una blusa que tenía en mente desde que la vi en una tienda cerca de mi casa y como me gusta coser me propuse hacerla. La blusa lleva volantes en las mangas y el escote que le lucen bastante hermosos para ser unicolor le va muy bien.
Sin más preámbulos les voy a compartir otra de mis experiencias en costuras.

My intention when I started making this blouse was to make a square neckline blouse with no ruffles on the neckline, only on the sleeves; however, in the making process I changed the idea to a U neckline with ruffles to decorate it.
Guided by my guide garment, I started to cut out the fabric, measuring beforehand so that the pieces would match when joining them together.
Mi intención cuando comencé hacer esta blusa fue hacer una blusa de escote cuadrado sin volantes en el escote, solo en las mangas; sin embargo, en el trayecto de confección cambie la idea a un escote en U con volantes para decorarlo.
Guiándome por mi prenda guía, comencé a recortar la tela midiendo antes para que las piezas coincidieran al momento de unirlas.

It is a ruffled sleeve design, I like it very much for little girls; however, it has been in trend in women's clothing of any age.
Medí 7 cm de ancho de tela para hacer los volantes de las mangas y de largo lo deje a mitad de manga en ambos lados, recorte un ángulo para hacerle la forma, este corte que se hace en las puntas ayuda a que el volante quede con esa forma voladita como si fuesen alas.
Es un diseño de mangas con volantes, me gusta mucho para las niñas; sin embargo, ha estado en tendencia en ropas de dama de cualquier edad.

Starting with the back piece of the blouse to give it a different finish to the one I have been doing in the neck, this time or rather I am always remembering, what I learned from my mom, she makes a rectangle for this type of back neck so I did it and I love how it turned out.
Después de tener la máquina de coser bien enhebrada y de haber hecho los cortes de las piezas necesarias para la blusa, comencé hacer las primeras costuras,
Comenzando con la pieza trasera de la blusa Para darle un acabado diferente al que he estado haciendo en el cuello, en esta oportunidad o mejor dicho siempre estoy recordando, lo que aprendí de mi mamá, ella hace un rectángulo para este tipo de cuello trasero así que lo hice y me encanto como quedo.

For the neckline what I did was to sew a 2 cm strip1/2 I sewed 1 cm for a thin ruffle, pinned it to the neckline, sewed a straight seam on the back side, then folded it to the right side and sewed it straight.
Each pleating space of the neckline strip was 1 cm for each pleat.
Para el escote lo que hice fue coser una tira de 2 cm1/2 cosí 1 cm para un fino ruedo, lo fije al escote con alfileres, pase una costura recta por el revés, luego lo doble al lado derecho y cosí en recta.
Cada espacio de plisado de la tira para el escote lo hice a 1 cm por cada pliso.

When I finished the details of the neck I joined the shoulders and sewed, at that moment I began to place the ruffles for the sleeves, these ruffles were already in advance with the hem done, I took the opportunity to sew them at the moment I sewed the strip for the neckline ruffle.
First I sewed it on the back side and one seam over the right side.
Before placing the ruffles we must measure in half the strip and make a picket that we will position in the shoulder seam, then we can begin to pleat the ruffle counting them and measuring the distance of each one in this opportunity I did them at 2 cm distance.
Cuando culmine los detalles del cuello uni por los hombros y cosí, en ese momento comencé a colocar los volantes para las mangas, estos volantes ya los tenía adelantados con el ruedo hecho, aproveche de coserlos en el momento que cosí la tira para el volante del escote.
Primero lo cosí por el lado del revés y una costura por encima del lado derecho.
Antes de colocar los volantes debemos medir por la mitad la tira y hacer un piquete que vamos a posicionar en la costura de los hombros, luego podemos comenzar a plisar el volante contándolos y midiendo la distancia de cada uno en esta oportunidad los hice a 2 cm de distancia

Finally with all the details in their respective places I sewed 1 cm of hem, then I joined the sides and my new blouse was ready.

Quedó muy bonita tu camisa, ese color y modelo me gustan.
Si que se ahorra bastante haciendo uno mismo las piezas, lo que si cuesta más es trabajo, jejeje.
Pero cuando se hace con gusto no pesa.
