VISITING THE TOPES DE COLLANTES NATURAL PARK [ENG]

Hello and have a good day to all the users of the Amazing Nature community, in a first publication I would like to share about an experience I had with my family when visiting the Topes de Collantes Natural Park located in the province of Sancti Spiritus near the municipality of Trinidad in the central region of Cuba.

Back in 2007, my sister and I had the opportunity to visit the province of Sancti Spiritus with my parents and one of the places where we made a brief stay was precisely in the Topes de Collantes Natural Park. During the tour inside the facility we were able to stop at the Hotel los Helechos, a facility with a total of 105 rooms and a three-star category.

During the tour we were able to observe lush vegetation which contained many species, even endemic to Cuba. An example of the impressive primary vegetation that is still found in the area are the ferns and orchids where we had the pleasure of delighting in a home of inhabitants originally from the place who had a beautiful acquisition of varieties available for public access for their comercialization.

Ayi we took possession of some specimens that today, luckily, are part of our small garden. It was a very nice trip which we took as a family and even though we did not have the technology and resources to take good photos, the ones in our album will go down in history.

It is a fairly quiet place for lovers of nature and spiritual peace. Apart from the hotel, it has other attractions such as hiking and tours guided by specialists.
