I'm back after a long time with a new homemade recipe.
I'll share my cooking recipe of a Chicken Biriyani πŸ—πŸ₯—πŸ—.

Biriyani is a famous dish in our culture and we cook biriyani with various meats such as beef, mutton, chicken, etc and this time I'm going to share my biriyani recipe where I used chicken.

Let's see how I cooked the Chicken Biriyani at my home.

Ingredients & Steps to follow:

  • Aroma Rice (We know it as polaw rice)

  • Onion and Green chili

I first took some onions and then cut them into small pieces, along with some green chilies.

  • Garlic & Ginger paste and Sour Yogurt

I already made mix paste of garlic and ginger and made them frozen so I can use them when I need them and I needed sour yogurt for the biriyani as well. The sour yogurt can be replaced with lemon if it's not available.

  • Radhuni Ready-mix Biriyani Masala

I can't think of cooking biriyani without this masala. This masala gives a great taste to the dish and it's made especially for biriyani.

  • Bay Leaf, Cinnamon and Cardamom

They are needed for the curry.

  • Lemon

Lemon is for special scent and they can be used instead of sour yogurt but I used both of them.

  • Chicken

After cutting the chicken in smaller pieces, I washed them properly again and again till its fresh enough.

  • Peanut and Pistachios

And I used some of these nuts as well and I needed to make paste of these nuts before I used them.

The process to follow:

Putting some oil on a pan I needed to make it hot at first and then I put the chopped onions on the hot oil and I kept stirring them so they don't get burned and I did it till the color of the onion changes a bit to brownish.

Then I put all the ingredients (except the sour yogurt and green peppers) one by one and I started mixing them till they're properly mixed and I had to give it (the ingredient mixtures) some time to get a little cooked.

Then I added the chicken meat that I already cleaned in a good way and I mixed the chicken with the cooked ingredients properly.

When the chicken is almost cooked after around 30 minutes, I added the green peppers and the sour yogurt and I cooked them for ten more minutes.

And the meat part is done now and I added potatoes as well in the meantime after added the sour yogurt. Now its time to work on the rice.

The rice part was simpler. I just had to cook some onions with some ingredients like Bay Leaf, Cinnamon and Cardamom in hot oil, then I added the cleaned rice in it and after stirring it for around 4-5 minutes, I just added the water. Hot water can do the cooking fast.

After the rice is cooked as well, it was time to mix the rice and meat altogether and that's the final part.

And the dish was ready to be served.

I served this dish with some salad (I added the salad after the photoshoots).
It was really tasty and I'd say it's a perfect Chicken Biriyani.
