Chalta lentil= My homemade recipe ππ©π½βπ³
Hi,π
I'm back with a new homemade recipe.
I'll share my cooking recipe of Chalta lentil ππ©π½βπ³.
This item is basically sour lentil and the lentil gets sour by the chalta fruit. I used to watch my mother cook this item. Along with its taste, it also has many nutritional benefits. Chalta is a sour fruit. Pickle, chutney can also be made with it. Chalta is also rich in vitamins, minerals, beta-carotene and small amounts of protein and carbohydrates. Therefore, just as chalta works as a preventive measure in the human body, it also plays a special role in nutrition. So, I think you already understand how healthy this item should be.
Let's see how I cooked Chalta lentil at my home.
Ingredients & Steps to follow:
- Chalta Fruit
I used a single fruit for this item. First I cleaned it and then I chopped it into smaller pieces and then I cleaned the pieces again and again cause fruit is full of tannin that needs to be get rid of.
- Lentil, Green Chili, Garlic, Onion, Coriander Leaves
After taking the quantity of ingredients shown above and washing everything well, I chopped green chilies, onion, garlic and some coriander leaves.
- Oil, Salt, Dry chilies.
- A small amount of turmeric powder and cumin powder.
The process to follow:
At this stage, I have cooked the lentil with enough water to boil it. After about 10 minutes, when the lentil was cooked, I mixed chopped onion, chopped raw chili, a little turmeric and cumin powder.
After mixing all the ingredients, I cooked it for some time and added the chopped pieces of chalta. I mixed the chalta a little and added some water to it. Chalta and lentil together produce a beautiful fragrance and the mixture of these two becomes Chalta lentil.
The real taste of chalta lentil is available at this stage because now I have heated a small amount of oil in another pan and fried it with dry chilies, chopped onions, chopped garlic and fried them until brown. From this mixture, beautiful grains came out and then I mixed the chaltar lentil mixture.
My home made hot and delicious chalta lentil is done. Served in a nice bowl and chopped some fresh coriander leaves to bring out more fragrance. I like to eat this chalta lentil with hot rice in winter. It is also good to eat this lentil when you have a cold.
No more today, I'll talk more later with another recipe soon.
BYE BYE.
