Beef Curry = My homemade recipe🥩🥩🥩
Hi,👋
I'm back with a new homemade recipe.
I'll share my cooking recipe of a beef curry 🥩.
Beef curry is something that no one can say no to have a steak while having lunch or dinner. Although Hindus doesn't eat beef and I don't know if there is any other religion than Hindu where its forbidden to eat beef. And some peoples don't eat beef because of their bad health. I really feel sad those peoples who don't or can't eat beef. We like beef a lot and for that, I have to cook beef for several days in a week if we have some beef steaks in the fridge. My beef curry doesn't get as tasty every time as this time so I thought I'd share my homemade recipe of this curry and fortunately I clicked some pictures of the steps and the ingredients with the thought that I might need them for a post if it is good.
Choosing the right parts of an ox is the important thing for a better beef curry/roast.
Let's see how I cooked the beef curry at my home.
Ingredients & Steps to follow:
- Beefsteaks
I think I got a fantastic part of the ox this time as the beef steaks were too good in condition and it was fresh so the taste should be better. After chopping the beef steaks into average size, I cleaned them well for several times.
- Onion
- Potato
Then I sliced some potatoes and chopped some onions into smaller pieces. I cleaned the potatoes after slicing them but I cleaned the onions before chopping them.
- Ginger & Garlic Paste
Its kind of a must ingredient for any curries of beef or chicken as this paste reduces the raw scent of the meat. I used some ginger and garlic paste.
- Cinnamon
- Cardamom
- Bay Leaf
I needed some cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf as well for a better taste of the curry. If I use these three ingredients in greater numbers for the beef curry, then the curry would taste better and there'd be a good scent from the curry.
- Turmeric Powder
- Chili Powder
- Cumin Powder
And I used some turmeric powder, chili powder from the shop and then I mashed some cumin seeds after frying them and made cumin powder. The turmeric powder gives a good yellow color to the curry and the chili powder is for the spice you know. And the cumin powder is a special masala for any kinds of meat curry.
- Oil
After heating some oil in a cooker, I released cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaf in the oil at first.
Then I released the onions there and mixed them well. Then I sauteed them for sometimes and waited till the onion gets a light brown color.
And then I released the turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder and some salt into the mix and I mixed them all.
I grinded this mix for around 3-5 minutes.
Then I released the beef steaks into the masala mix when I understood that the masala mix was grinded well. And then I mixed the beef steaks with the masala mix.
After grinding the beef steaks with the masala mix for sometimes, it got a new yellow color. I released the potato slices at this moment and mixed them with the entire mix.
After releasing the potatoes, I grinded all of them for sometimes until I understood that they were grinded well. This grinding part gives the curry its best taste so I had to grind it for sometimes in low heat so that the taste gets better when its cooked.
After grinding for around 5-10 minutes in low heat, I released some water and I left it in low heat with the lid on the pan. I opened the lid and stirred the curry for sometimes.
Then the curry was well cooked after around 20-25 minutes. I cooked the curry for a long time so that the beef gest enough tender.
And the curry was ready to be served.
I served this curry with fried rice and soft drinks and yes there were salad as well.
It was really tasty and the beef steaks was tender enough that we didn't need to fight with it when eating.
I'd say it's a beef curry.
No more today, I'll talk more later with another recipe soon.

Hi I know I'm replying in late and I'm sorry for that. I was busy with the real life.
We basically use cinnamon almost in every curry and I guess cinnamon makes the curry tastier. You may try it sometimes to see if it suits your taste.
