This is a contest from our community to you, women empowering each other both on the blockchain and in Discord! A place we love and where Hive is alive. If you haven't joined our discord yet, an invite can be found by clicking on the first banner under this post!

We want everyone in the LadiesOfHive community to succeed! We have seen some members, however, failing to properly cite the sources for images used in posts. This can cause trouble for your accounts, our community, and the Hive blockchain as a whole. Please review the following information and ask if there are any questions!

You can use any image PROVIDED THAT it is not copyrighted, and is free-for-use in a post. Your entry will be disqualified if you use a copyrighted image or a watermarked image. Plenty of free-to-use images can be found on these sites:

● https://LifeOfPix.com
● https://Pexels.com
● https://Pixabay.com
● https://Unsplash.com

Even using images from sites such as these, though, it is a good idea to cite that the image is "free-for-use from Pixabay," or perhaps even give credit to the photographer (even though the site may say no such credit is necessary). Giving credit for the image will help to keep your account spotless and will help the photographer with more traffic to their page! If you took the photos, it's a good idea to say: "Photos by me" somewhere in your post!

At the bottom of every LadiesOfHive contest is credit to the photo that appears at the top:

Please do not use images from Google, Pinterest, Flickr, etc., as those are not free-for-use! Please do not use images with a 'watermark' across them, as those are not free-for-use, either! Let's be a shining example to the rest of the blockchain in how to do things correctly! THANK YOU! 😘

But a picture of you and the closet has to be in the blog as proof!

2️⃣ Show us your refrigerator and the 3 products you always use, eat, or drink. Again, a picture of you in front or next to the fridge has to be in the blog as proof!

What about those ladies who do not post their pictures on social media because of cultural constraints or reasons alike? What if I take the pics with my son as a proof????

I'm so glad you asked this @amberkashif. I'd love to read about what the cultural reasons are so the rest of us who don't experience these constraints can better understand your life. If you do a post for this contest can you include a bit about that too? (Only if it feels safe/appropriate for you, of course).

Like @riverflows, I really dislike taking selfies, especially 'on demand', and would prefer not 'have to' for authentification... All my photos are always my own, and I'm an uncompromising radical artist, so value genuine, unique expression above all... my sovereignty does not have to be 'proved' or 'verified'! :-D Blessings all, and thank you ladies of Hive for this invite to share!

I never said a selfie, maybe that wasnt clear, but you had to be in the picture but from behind or a hand or such is also possible to apply to be in the picture, and on demand is just when you enter not a must to enter, than again there have some ladies using pictures that weren't their own so to make it more personal i though this would be fun, sorry

This sounds like fun! So, my must haves aren't refrigerated, but they are in my pantry! Can I take a pic in front of my pantry or hold the products while i stand in front of the fridge? LOL. I like this idea.

Wow!... This contest is really not for me.
First of; I'm squatting with a friend so I don't have a closet and second of all, this friend of mine doesn't own a fridge. If I had a fridge myself, there will definitely be vanilla flavoured icecream, monster energy drink and Environ!😂😂

I'm so glad you suggested this @brittandjosie. I want to see posts from all ladies on Hive, not just the ones lucky enough to have a walk in wardrobe and an oversized fridge. (<---- that would be me!). And I totally agree; there's a blog in everything.
