Part 2 of my 3rd Time in Cebu: Sirao Flower Garden, Leah's Temple, and More...

More than its pristine beaches, stunning waterfalls, and warm-hearted people, Cebu, Philippines has a lot to offer!

And its undeniable charm has to keep tourists (be it foreigners or Filipinos) from keeping on coming back here. Which has me wrapped under its spell, making me fall in love with it even more.

And the excursion in the Queen City of the South - Cebu, Philippines, with my siblings continues.

Hello everyone!
I am very delighted to be sharing with you the continuation of my post regarding my third visit to Cebu. Part of the package that we took was of course my favorite, as I am so fascinated with flowers.

📍Sirao Flower Garden

Located in the uphills of Cebu, it took us a 45-minute drive from the hotel where we stayed in the city, to get to Sirao, Garden. We went there early so to avoid the many people who also love to visit the place.

It was a bit cloudy then, seems like the rain was about to fall so the mountainous background was slightly blurry. But it did not hinder us from seeing the mesmerizing and picturesque view of the flower garden, which left me in awe.

There were varieties of flowers growing and blooming. And every picture we took was all worth coming here.

Of course, I did not miss the chance to have pictures of their splendid beauty, and below are some of them. Glad and so grateful I have my sister with me who has always been my official photographer. 😁

They also have here amazing structures which make the garden even more beautiful.

And its fabulous and amazing famous giant stone-hand structure. Pardon our pictures, I know they did not give justice to how beautiful it is in person. We are still practicing our photography skills though. 😅

After we enjoyed our time in Sirao Flower Garden, we then headed to another famous Cebu tourist spot attraction.

📍Temple of Leah

IMG_20220911_194816.jpg

It has a touch of Roman-style architecture, built as a gesture of a man's undying love for his wife Leah Adarna, where the temple's name was taken from. As time went on, it attracted lots of people due to its mesmerizing view that's why it became a popular tourist destination.

From the temple, you will have a mesmerizing overlooking of the mountainous side of Cebu City. A wonderful and relaxing site that will take your breath away.

And then we were able to pose for pictures with the literal post that resembles the Roman structures, to be included in my post here.

And then as we returned to the city, we went to this cozy and beautiful place.

📍La Vie Parisienne

As a side trip from our uphill trips, we dropped by this French-inspired place where your cravings for French pastries, wine, and food can be all found here. Located in Lahug, Cebu City, you will get to have an authentic French experience, bringing a luxurious touch of Parisian concept, for everyone to have a glimpse of, right in the very heart of Cebu.

They have here different varieties of wine, aesthetically displayed inside.

The place was so cozy giving every guest a comfortable stay.

They have a garden at the back where everyone can experience the relaxing ambiance of Al Fresco dining. They have set artificial cherry blossom trees and cozy tables and swings. It was the perfect place to sit back and relax. My sister and I took pictures with very Instagram-worthy backgrounds.

And then our last spot before our amazing 3-day Cebu trip ended was, of course, a church visit.

📍Basilica del Santo Niño

I utter some prayers which my heart has always been pleading for. And of course, I offered my sincerest gratitude to Him, for all the blessings that He has given me and for making me always feel that He is always with me, providing me with everything that I need.

Goodbye Cebu for now, I'll be setting foot in your beautiful and warm soil again!, that's what I whispered as we rode the passenger vessel back home.

One thing is for sure...

I will never get enough of Cebu! And I am looking forward to visiting the rest of Cebu's provinces in both North and the South, and explore all of its hidden gems, puhon. ❤

Yeah the flowers were so pretty that have given us good vibes and those smiles were genuine happiness 😁.

I guess the giant hand structure is the highlight of this place, and people were already queueing, waiting for us to be done because we kept on taking pictures with it because we cannot find the perfect angle. 😅

Thank you so much @chinito for always dropping by. Have a good day! 😊

Must be so cold to be up there in Sirao while it's about to rain. 😅
La Vie is still as stunning as ever. I used to go there with my friends before. The place was always crowded but I think when you came, it's not. Or maybe it only gets crowded at night time?

Yeah it was cold because it was about to rain then, it was even colder because it was December when we visited Sirao, tugnaw jud kaayo! 😅
La Vie that time was not yet crowded because it was around 2pm when we went there. Yeah I guess it's more crowded at night. Hehe.
