My Life in Palette: In Shades of Endless Silence

Hello everyone!

Another weekend is about to flip its page to another busy work week. Another busy week of dealing with most of our days in a mundane roller coaster ride of life's game. With strangers, we walk past those unaware encounters in that familiar alley with our everyday errands.

And I admit, I get tired, every time. Of those noises that I kept on hearing in the rowdy and chaotic city streets, I get sick and tired.

That's why when weekends are peeking, I get excited. And who wouldn't? Another escape to find serenity and relaxation to have our minds and souls rejuvenated, right?

Most of us usually go on a quick weekend beach escapade with family or friends. While some are preferring on exercising not just our physical health but more with the mind as well by doing some mountain climbing with hike buddies. These are some of the ways to seek and have a grasp of tranquility in those quiet moments with nature.

Although it may not be new to most of you, my weekends are usually spent alone with my canvas, paintbrush, acrylic paints, and palette.

I am in an open field surrounded by nothing but the serenity of nature's finest work of art. With blue mountains gently chasing the clouds that are playing along with the clear sky. The lush greenery and the calming view of the meadow are softly playing a tune that my soul is gracefully swaying into. The old wooden fence is blissfully chatting with the wildflowers prolifically growing and blooming anywhere, giving the birds a quiet moment to rest.

Breathing in all the serenity nature has to offer, I thought to myself - what a wonderful world.

And this is where the shades of my acrylic paints take me - to the smooth and calming detours that paved my journey towards endless silence --- tranquility at its finest it is.

Because art is my sweet escape. And with all its dark and light shades of blues and greens, I wanted to share with you how this artwork is harmonically humming the silence of nature that could serenade one's heart. And as I am slowly stepping my f̶e̶e̶t̶ hands into stroking towards the wilderness, I am getting closer to listening to the melody it is gently singing. With leaves synchronized dancing with the winds and birds chirping, I could almost fall asleep to the lullaby it softly whispers.

And in the middle of the wilderness, I stopped for a while and listen attentively to its silence. A soothing music that calms my soul.
