Chaos Legion Investment | -12.33% After Three Months

The purpose of this series of posts is to record my investment in the Chaos Legion set and to ultimately determine if it was worth it or not.

Airdrop Cards | $48.86

Three months after the general sale of Chaos Legion was launched, there have been 8,225,000 packs sold and 8 cards airdropped. Since my last update, there has only been one new card airdropped. Luckily, I was still guaranteed a copy of Carnage Titan since I purchased 575 packs on one of my accounts and only 525 packs were required to receive a guaranteed copy.

• I am not at all surprised with the results as I only had a 14.239% chance of receiving an additional copy.

• I invested $2,185 and the current value of all my Chaos Legion related assets is $1,915.61

As I say on all of these posts, I do not expect to see any sort of gains until Chaos Legion sells out. At the rate it has been going, I do not think that would happen until November of this year. The one concern I have is that when the SPS airdrop is concluded then the value of all of the card packs (not just Chaos Legion) will decrease drastically since they will no longer have any airdrop points. I am curious to see how the secondary market will respond shortly after the SPS airdrop ends...

While Splinterlands does have a referral program, it only benefits the referrer and not the referee. Therefore, it is up us (the existing players) to create our own referral program to help new players enter into the game. Here is how mine works:
