Family photos collection

Hello again Hive Multiverse and welcome back to my blog!

During my experience as a professional photographer I have been working a few years in various hotels around the Canary Islands and Mallorca.

These years have been very important for my professional growth and I could learn a lot from my colleagues as well.

The best part of the job for me back then had always been the shooting appointments in the evening, mostly with families.

I wanted to show you a collection of family pictures by the sea I made in the last season I worked in Mallorca, not only to show you my photography skills, but also as a celebration of the very unique kind of love that only family connection can develop. How it is important to receive that kind of love from our family members especially when we are growing up as children.

We used to make a slide show with music to show the photos for the first time to a family after the shooting and I saw many times parents (especially fathers!) crying, and it made me happy to know that I could somehow contribute in keeping these memories full of deep emotions alive through time, thanks to my photos.

I have to be honest, it wasn't always easy doing a photo shooting when children were involved, but I love children, especially the very little ones, I love their way of acting so naturally, their minds still not conditioned by the world we live in. And I like challenges too, so the more "difficult" the children, the better I would feel in being able to give good shots to the family at the end of the session.

For me, the best way to have a successful photo shooting with little children was to make them feel comfortable having them on a playful mood.

Fortunately for me, I can say that, generally, kids like me, so we get along quite well together, in a way that many times parents are surprised if their children let me take photos of them while they usually don't let their parents do it!

Of course, family shooting would also involve families with older kids or teenagers making for sure the work much easier and faster.

I really love this particular spot on the cliffs by the sea in the island of Mallorca where you can see I collected the most of these shots.

I really love the way all these different pictures taken in the same place look like, with different subjects, different sky, light, shadows and colors.

And these next photos are from another location also in Mallorca.
