Hello everyone, before all Merry Christmas, this time I want to show you another practice I made of a portrait, but in cartoon version, drawn in semi realistic, using various shades of colors for the face in particular.

As I mentioned at the beginning the main features of this portrait is a caricature because of the size of the eyes that occupies most of the face, next I am going to mention some steps in the elaboration of this drawing.

Hola a todos, antes de todos Feliz Navidad, en esta ocacion les quiero enseñar otra practica que hice de un retrato, pero en version de caricatura, dibujado en semi realista, utilizando varios tonos de colores para el rostro en especial.

Como mencione al principio los rasgos principales de este retrato es de caricatura por el tamaño de los ojos que ocupa la mayor parte de la cara, a continuacion les voy a mencionar algunos pasos en la elaboracion de este dibujo.

Step by Step

• I began by making the sketch of the face in the program by means of several guides of references that later I was erasing until obtaining the suitable proportions.

• Comence haciendo el boceto del rostro en el progama mediante varias guias de referencias que luego fui borrando hasta conseguir las proporciones adecuadas.

• In the next step I created layers to add the colors to the different elements that make up this illustration, selecting the appropriate ones for each of them.

• En la siguiente etapa fui creando capas para agregar los colores a los distintos elementos que conforman esta ilustracion, seleccionando los adecuados para cada uno de ellos.

• Having each one of them with the base colors I was adding details, for the skin I used several tones for the face in the forehead I used a yellow, in the middle area I used an orange color and for the lower area I used the base skin color, then adding the darker areas and placing it to each one of the elements for the lip I used the purple color and for the eye I used a different method I used the blue color.

• Teniendo cada uno de ellos con los colores base le fui agregando detalles, para la piel utilice varios tonos para el rostro en la frente utilice un amarillo, en la zona del medio use un color naranja y para la zona inferior use el color piel de base, para luego ir agregando las zonas mas oscuras e ir colocandolo a cada uno de los elementos para el labio use el color morado y para el ojo que use un metodo distinto use el color azul.

• Finishing the character I made a background with orange color tone and I was adding brightness to certain areas of the portrait for the clothes I still need to practice more.

• Terminando al personaje le hice un fondo con tono de color naranja y le fui agregando brillo a ciertas zonas del retrato para la ropa me falta practicar todavia mas.
