(ENG-ESP) Enjoying with my mother a visit to the hairdresser "By Rossy" in Margarita

• Buenos días queridos hivers, les deseo un feliz fin de semana... Como les he comentado en ocasiones anteriores, vine a pasar las navidades en Margarita, aunque en un principio estaba planificado que solamente serían unas pequeñas vacaciones para celebrar las fiestas navideñas, se extendió por un tiempo más, la verdad que me siento muy feliz y agradecida con el Universo por este gran regalo, ya que es algo que no me esperaba, pero que estoy disfrutando cada segundo, con la consciencia de que las maletas están vacías y de que en algún momento tendré que llenarlas para regresar a caracas. Desde que llegué a la isla quería llevar a mi mamá a una peluquería para consentirla y complacerla, ya que ella quería cortarse y pintarse el cabello, estos planes se fueron postergando debido a su salud, ya que tuvo una crisis de dolor intenso debido a una patología que tiene hace muchísimos años y por la edad se ha ido incrementando. Tuvimos la suerte de conseguir a un buen traumatólogo que le colocó un tratamiento inyectado, a los pocos días su mejoría era notable. Aprovechando que la crisis de dolor había desaparecido, tomé la decisión de llevarla a una peluquería para que le realizaran el corte de cabello que tanto deseaba.

As I have told you on previous occasions, I came to spend Christmas in Margarita, although at first it was planned that it would only be a small vacation to celebrate the Christmas holidays, it was extended for a while longer, the truth is that I feel very happy and grateful to the Universe for this great gift, as it is something I did not expect, but I am enjoying every second, with the awareness that the suitcases are empty and that at some point I will have to fill them to return to Caracas. Since I arrived to the island I wanted to take my mom to a hairdresser to pamper and please her, since she wanted to cut and paint her hair, these plans were postponed due to her health, since she had a crisis of intense pain due to a pathology that she has had for many years and due to her age it has been increasing. We were lucky enough to find a good traumatologist who gave him an injected treatment, a few days later his improvement was remarkable. Taking advantage of the fact that the pain crisis had disappeared, I decided to take her to a hairdresser to get the haircut she wanted so much.

• Luego de visitar varios salones de belleza, me encontré con ésta peluquería donde me ofrecieron una excelente atención y un precio bastante solidario, el corte de cabello con lavado incluído y secado tenía un precio de 10 dólares, para la colocación del tinte decidimos ir otro día, para evitar que mi mamá estuviera mucho tiempo sentada. La chica que le cortó el cabello tuvo una actitud muy amable y tuvo mucha paciencia con mi mamá, ya que mi mamá se enredó explicando como quería su corte del cabello, le dijo que se lo dejara largo y escalonado, pero que le hiciera capas cortas, una explicación que dejó a la peluquera un poco confundida jajaja Con mucha paciencia le cortó el cabello, mientras nos contó un poco de su vida, la verdad quedé bastante conmovida, muchas veces no imaginamos la tristeza que puede existir detrás de una sonrisa y de un gesto amable. Me encantó su forma tan positiva y optimista de reaccionar frente a las circunstancias grises de su vida.

• After visiting several beauty salons, I found this hair salon where they offered me an excellent attention and a very supportive price, the haircut with wash and dry included had a price of 10 dollars, for the hair coloring we decided to go another day, to avoid that my mom was sitting for a long time. The girl who cut her hair had a very kind attitude and was very patient with my mom, since my mom got tangled explaining how she wanted her hair cut, she told her to leave it long and staggered, but to make short layers, an explanation that left the hairdresser a little confused hahaha With much patience she cut her hair, while she told us a little of her life, the truth was quite moved, many times we do not imagine the sadness that can exist behind a smile and a kind gesture. I loved her positive and optimistic way of reacting to the gray circumstances of her life.

• Para bajar las escaleras nos estresamos muchísimo, ya que al subir no sentimos que eran tan inclinadas, los escalones tenían una altura muy considerable debido al problema de la columna y de escoliosis que sufre mi mamá, entre la chica y yo pudimos bajar a mi mamá, ya que el inconveniente era tiene baranda, pero no posee la protección lateral que transmiten la confianza de bajar sin temor. Nuestra experiencia fue positiva, le dimos varios consejos de vida a la chica que le cortó el cabello a mi mamá, es algo que nos pidió y con mucho cariño se lo dimos... Tenemos la filosofía de que: Todos somos uno y uno somos todos y que siempre la mejor elección será ayudar.

Our experience was positive, we gave several life tips to the girl who cut my mom's hair, it is something that she asked us and with much affection we gave it to her... We have the philosophy that: We are all one and one is all and that always the best choice will be to help.
