Visit rural temple and northern tradition (Slakkapat Tradition), Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today is the children's holiday, my family and I can't go out. My son (autistic) has behavior and emotions that has not improved. So my wife and I can't take our son out right now, Besides taking the boy to school (School for children with special needs). To train and improve the behavior of boy. But several days ago, my wife and I had free time and had the opportunity to visit a temple and traditional festival at a temple in rural community of our district again. When our son go to school.
This tradition is called slakkapat. The tradition of the offering dedicated food, necessary things and money to monks in the temple and monks from other temples who come to participate in rituals at the temple that hosts the traditional (slakkapat), With the condition that each monk will draw lots to receive food, necessary things and money from each person who makes merit.

This temple is a small rural temple. My wife and I go to the temple in the morning. The morning, people keep on coming but not too much so yet. Unfortunately, there was no thai traditional dance show that day. But there is a thai traditional music show. Take a look at some of the atmosphere of the temple and this traditional festival.

Finally, I took everyone to see some of the atmosphere of this rural village and farms too.
