Visit chom khiri temple and tha ton temple, trip mae ai district, chiang mai province, thailand yesterday.

This post, I will share the story of yesterday's trip to Mae Ai District of me and my wife's relatives. Yesterday me and my wife's relatives went to many temples in this district. This post is a trip to make merit at the temple, On the mountain named doi lang, another temple. Yesterday's post, I shared pang ton dua temple on doi lang. This post is a temple called chom khiri temple.

Chom khiri temple is located in mae ai subdistrict, mae ai district, chiang mai province, thailand. And located on doi lang, a mountain that is a natural attraction, where you can see the natural scenery of thailand and myanmar. Chom khiri temple is close to pang ton dua temple, about 2 kilometers. But chom khiri temple will arrive before pang ton dua temple.

Getting to chom khiri temple, when you arrive in chiang mai, after that you journey on highway 107. Chiang mai - fang route. When you arrive at fang district, You go on the fang bypass road. After that, turn left onto Highway 1089. And journey to mae ai subdistrict, mae ai district. When you reach alley municipal 58, turn left into this alley. Continue on the road number 1314. You will reach this temple on your right hand side. The road number 1314 is a road on the doi lang route. You will need a low gear to drive up and down the mountains on this route.

When you reach chom khiri temple you will only see one sanctuary, which is the architecture of this temple. Apart from that, there is only a monk's cubicle and a cafeteria. Because this temple is a small, not famous temple on the mountain and close to the border of burma. In northern thailand, this big merit-making event is called poi luang.

After that, we go to tha ton temple which is the third temple of this trip. We journey on a mountain route from doi lang to tha ton temple. The distance of the driving on the mountain route is about 10 kilometers. And journey on the highway for about 1 kilometer to tha ton temple.

I've been to tha ton temple many times before, but many of my wife's relatives have never been to this temple. So yesterday I didn't take much pictures of this temple. And tha ton temple is located on the mountain with a total of 9 floors. I take pictures only outside the pagoda on the mountain on the 8th floor of the temple and the natural scenery below from this temple on the 8th floor of this temple.
