Northern Thai food, Chinese Yunnan recipe mixed with Northern Thai.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post I want to share local Thai food from the northern. This dish is Khao Soi (Northern Thai style noodles with curry and chicken). I think many people have seen and known this dish. And it's a favorite dish for me and wife. How to make this dish, it is quite difficult and take a long time. Even though my wife is from the North. But she can't cook khao soi herself. Every time we want to eat Khao Soi. We ate this dish at a local restaurant. We have eaten khao soi from many local restaurants in the district where we live and in nearby districts. But there is a restaurant I want to share with everyone. And this restaurant only sells Khao Soi. We received information from people in the village who had eaten khao soi at this restaurant that it was delicious. This restaurant is in a Yunnan Chinese village living in Thailand. So today my wife and I went to the Yunnan Chinese Village again to eat Khao Soi at this restaurant for the first time. This village is Yang Village.

This restaurant is about 9 kilometers from our house. We traveled on rural road to Yang Village. We see a natural view before reaching the village.

When reaching the village, this village was a large village. It is a village on both plains and plateaus. And it is another quiet and livable Yunnan Chinese village.

This restaurant is in the owner's house. It was a one-story house with a simple restaurant.

The interesting thing about Khao Soi at this restaurant is besides being delicious, The noodles are also made by the owner himself.

In addition the curry and chicken seasoning for this dish are made using a Yunnan Chinese recipe mixed with Northern Thai recipe. So the khao soi at this restaurant is very interesting and delicious.

If friends have the opportunity to travel to Fang District, Chiang Mai Province. And want to eat Khao Soi. I recommend this restaurant.
