Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My family and I are happy and a simple life at our home today. Every weekend we didn't travel or go anywhere. This week too. My wife and I take care of our son (Autistic) at home every day, When boy's not at school. Our son will become more irritated and hurt himself more, When we take the boy outside and to places where there are many people and noises. So we didn't travel or go anywhere on the holiday. But we enjoy with simple life at home. Besides taking care of my son and granddaughter at home, I also enjoys take care of the vegetables in the home garden. My wife too, besides taking care of her son and granddaughter, she also enjoys housework and cooking. In this post, I want share the food she cooked for everyone to see, Take a look.

There is another vegetable that I would like to share. I'm not sure do you know this vegetable. This vegetable is called Malabar Nightshade. Some species of Malabar Nightshade can only eat their new leaves emerge and some species eat only their flowers. I planted Malabar Nightshade along the fence. It is a species that eats its flowers. And my wife harvested them to make Malabar Nightshade soup with fermented pork sausage. It is a vegetable soup with a sour taste, But delicious. And it's a vegetable soup that kids like, especially the son.


This time's vegetable soup includes not only Malabar Nightshade as the main ingredients but also Luffa cylindrical new leaves emerge.


Ingredients : Malabar Nightshade soup with fermented pork sausage.

  1. Malabar Nightshade
  2. fermented pork sausage
  3. Luffa cylindrical new leaves
  4. pork flavour seasoning powder
  5. shrimp paste


First put a pot on the stove. Then add water, shrimp paste and pork flavour seasoning powder in a pot. Stir the ingredients in the pot together and boil until the water boils.

Then put the Malabar Nightshade and Luffa cylindrical new leaves in the pot. Boil until all the vegetables are almost cooked.

Then put the fermented pork sausage in the pot and boil.

Boil for a while until all the ingredients in the pot are cooked. Turn off the stove.

Besides Malabar Nightshade soup with fermented pork sausage, my wife also cooks another simple dish : papaya salad. Popular food for us. I think many people have seen and eaten it. And I've written a recipe for this dish. So I don't have a recipe for this dish in this post. The main ingredient is papaya, my wife harvested it from the home garden.


My wife makes papaya salad. It's delicious to us. This time we ate papaya salad with Thai rice noodle.
