SEAPHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST • WEEK 164 • THEME IS FREE THIS WEEK.
This week being week #164 the theme for #seaphotography run by @marc-allaria in a free theme and I would like to present to you some of my favorite coastline landscape photos from beaches along the northern coastline of NSW, Australia, myself I live in Byron Bay Town walking distance to Byron Bay Beach from here I have easy access to many other beaches following the designated pathways along this beautiful coastline overlooking the Pacific Sea taking you through rainforest and across clifftops to other beaches enjoying the breathtaking views at every step you take the actual Byron Bay pathway loop is just under 4km.
Every year if you are a real keen walker and like to enjoy a walk with a group of people they have the a 36km coastal charity walk starting from Ballina beach ending up in Lennox Head beach, I have done this a couple of times it's one of the best walks I have ever done walking through some of the most stunning natural landscapes.
You need to be reasonably fit to do this walk at times you are climbing to heights of 300 meters then descending down some steep slops it's not all prefect pathways you need to find your way through some rainforest and scrubby bush land but it's all fun and a good laugh when people are getting caught up in the tall grass and vines and you lose them when they trip over and get swallowed up by the tall grass.
The 36km coastal charity walk starts at Ballina beach early morning and we reach Byron Bay beach by sunrise continue walking up to the Cape Byron Lighthouse then following the trail down to Tallow beach, then back through the forest before ending up at Lennox Head beach it's a total of about a 7 hour walk and all the funds raised from this charity walk goes for towards the Rescue Helicopter Service Team and our benefits well, we have a great day out amongst friends and the beauty of nature.
